You see these guys on the news and internet and if like me assume it is all a bunch media spin. The book definitely informs you it is not. The book tells you not only how they got ahead but also gives great advice as to how you can get ahead as well. I loved it!!!
I absolutely loved the lay out of this book. It was well written in a format that was not only easy to read but very enjoyable as well. First, the ten commandments approach to building a business was very helpful. It gave example and detail of how not only to start a business but to see it through and get it up and running. I loved the way Nick and Omar expressed taking control of their lives by starting a business. That's really what I'm trying to do with my own career and this is truly a valuable resource. Second, I loved the idea of making your dream a vision! It really made me reflect on the fact that everyone has dreams but those who really get ahead see it through to becoming a vision in there lives. Thirdly I loved how the strategic elements of seeing that vision through was laid out. It gave real life examples of not only successes but of mistakes as well. Most authors would have possibly left out the mistakes but in mistakes a lot of learning takes place as well. I loved the honesty and candid approach in this book. If you want an informercial ten step plan this book is not for you but if you want a REAL example and plan for your own endeavors this book is definitely for you! I loved it and will highly reccommend it to anyone looking for that real life approach to taking there dreams to the next level.

Nick and Omar have not forgotten where they came from. Their honesty and helpful tips will let anyone know that they can start their own business if they desire. It's a reminder for those who have tried to Try Again!
I just finished reading this book after a friend recommended it to me and I was pleasantly surprised. I have been thinking about opening up my own business for quite some time and this book answered many of my questions I had about how I could start hitting the ground running. It provides a great deal of knowledge about the mental approach in how to tackle starting your business and how to keep it going once you start it. I love how they were no afraid to specifically detail out there past successes and their failures. For example in ch 3 it discussed how they invested a large quantity of money into a warehouse that they were going to use for sorting and resale that cost them tons of money and a 3 yr lease as well. Where most authors might have simply left this out it provided valuable insight and let me know that these were normal people too! If they could do it then so could I! I will highly recommend this book to anyone wanting to start there own business and take hold of their own dreams!
This book really made me erase a lot of my preconceived notions about what it took to start a business. I used to think I was to "ordinary" a person to achieve big things like starting a business. This book really inspires me to step out, work hard, and make my dreams become more than just dreams!
This book gave me a new insight that I had never had before. It was very well written and gave me a perspective not only on business sense but life sense as well! I would definitely reccomend this book!
