To achieve your goals, you don’t have to constantly focus on them. You only have to set your intention once. The necessary action steps then become clear. You may want to remind yourself of your goal once a day just to solidify the intention, but 99.9% of the time there is no reason whatsoever for your goal to be on your mind. Having your goal on your mind more than 0.01% of your time is just a waste of your time. You would be MUCH more effective if you spent the entire 99.9% of spare time focusing on the process of achieving that goal rather than focusing on the goal itself, and you would be much more happy as well.
