Carol Austin (1961) was born in Windsor, Ontario, Canada to British immigrant parents. At the age of 22, she left Windsor and moved to New York City, but returned to Canada after spending 11 adventurous years in Manhattan. Austin works as a marketing consultant and continues her love of writing in the non-fiction genre. She currently lives in a rural town on the outskirts of Toronto Canada with her husband Kurt and their dogs Lucy and Daisy.
