This book is an accessible and concise summary of Einstein's thoughts and life. Do not gewt me wrong this is not your typical biograpy. It also deals with his theories and his thought process behind them. The best part is the fact that he explains Einstein's development of the theory through Einstein¿s thoughts. Kaku takes the reader into how Einstein imagined the issue. In fact, Kaku makes it sort of seem easy to be Einstein in the understandable (absence of math) way he describes his processes.

Michio Kaku has presented the person, widely considered one of the greatest minds and scientific thinkers of the 20th century, to have a human, sensitive side as well. The book doesn't dwell overly on the details of space time and relativity, so the non-scientifically inclined reader will not feel lost in the details of Einstein's original thinking. But all can appreciate that Albert Einstein was a sensitive and caring individual in addition to his outstanding ability as a mathematician. Well done Mr Kaku. You write as well as you speak.

Good review. Brings a lot of Einstein's life into context with how much he really contributed even after his death.
