I was ruthless.

I was feared.

I had sacrificed. Myself. Her. Everything...

Living in a world where I was worth more dead than alive was a choice. I was a bad man, never claimed to be anything else. I've done things I'm not proud of. Seen things that can't be unseen. I've caused pain that I can't undo.

It was all my choice.

Every decision.

Every order.

Right and wrong never mattered.

Until her.

She was under my protection, until she became my obsession.

But who was going to save her...

From. Me. The devil himself.

Fate brought us together. Destiny destroyed us.

This was the story I have been waiting for, I was so excited to read the book about El Diablo, the devil and I have to say this book blew me away ..... How did Alejandro Eduardo Martinez become that man, this book tells you how and why he became the devil. He runs a worldwide mob empire, the law bends for him and men fear him but there is one woman who can see through the bad , but she will be his weakness as well as his salvation. Lexi has a hard life right from childhood and Alejandro wants to protect her but is it protection from life or protection from him that she needs. This book has so many secrets and Alejandro is a man you want to hate but even though you hate his lifestyle it's hard to hate the man. This story will keep you guessing right to the last chapter and even though The Good O'l Boys come into the book it can most definitely be read as a standalone. Fantastic read from M.Robinson I was given this book for an honest review

Best book I've read this year, broke my heart over and over then mended back together

This was an amazing read and I defiantly recommend it. It has a little bit of everything, romance, deception, drama, and of course those naughty bits. I can assure you, you will not be disappointed. This is a book about Alejandro Martinez (aka El Diablo) he is a huge leader in organized crime and ends up falling in love with Lexi, but he pushes her away because he doesn't want to ruin her. The thing I like about M. Robinson is that she begins the characters journey from they were young until they're adults. I promise you will not be disappointed and once you've read this book you will defiantly want to read more of her books (at least I did).

I received a free ARC in exchange for an honest review. I HATED this book. I hate that despite asking the author before via previous reviews (that I know she's read) that she STILL doesn't put warnings or didn't put a warning out about the book. I hate how many people love this book. I hate that it's 2016 and books that AREN'T historical/regency/etc romances still have men owning women and it being a "joke" that the daughter won't ever be allowed to date because of the father and his desire to never see HIS babygirl not date. Like, I literally CAN'T describe how angry I am with this book. If you enjoyed 50 shades of grey, this book will be right up your alley with the ignoring the mental and emotional abuse he puts her through. If you didn't, I can't in good conscience recommend this book.

Okay so, I found this book from a friend of mine shared on Facebook and She's a wonderful writer and I LOVE her taste. So it wasn't hard for me to purchase this book, but sweet Jesus it had me reeling. One minute I'm crying, the next I'm angry, the next I'm lusting. So many twist and turns and so beautifully written. Ahhh I'm still a wreck. It will take me a while before I can re read this. My heart can't take it!!!? Can I give It more stars???

I was anticipating this one after reading Crave Me seeing how that one ended. I have to say I didn't quite picture Alejandro that way he truly is. Don't get me wrong he's definitely a El Diablo, but you get to see the side of him he keeps secret. You can see the daily war he rages within himself for the life that he lives. He has experience so much in his life and it just keeps piling up, but soon he has a bright light in his life. That is another war that he grapples within himself regarding Lexi. There is some twists I never saw coming that made me gasp. How much I wanted to dislike Alejandro then he would do something to pull me back to his side. Lexi hasn't had any easy life right from a young age. She finally thinks her life is on track, but soon that derails quickly. She soon finds herself at the mercy of Alejandro. Her life will never be the same again. M Robinson weaved her magic yet again. Though this is one has a darker feel to it she leaves me on the edge of my seat, but delivers a story that just grips my heart yet leaves me with a smile on my face once the book is over.

I can’t tell you the last time I read a book that had me on such a roller coaster ride of emotions---where I had such a visceral reaction to the gripping story, the unforgettable cast of characters, and the gorgeous writing that make up EL DIABLO…perhaps not ever! That’s saying something with over 1,200 books on my e-readers. This book is my first M. Robinson read and it won’t be my last. IT WAS EVERYTHING! As a new reader to this author, I had no idea what to expect…no trust in her that she would give me the ending that I craved, but rest assured, she gave me what I needed from this story and SO MUCH MORE! It’s an epic saga, spanning the course of half a century. We meet the hero of the story as a young teenager, heir to become the leader of the most feared crime family in the country. Alejandro Martinez grows up to be one of the most mercurial and conflicted book heroes I’ve ever met, and you will both love and hate him multiple times throughout this book. I wanted to hate him for hurting the people he loves most, but HOW can you hate him when he does it BECAUSE of his love for them? Lexi is my favorite type of heroine: strong, resilient, beautiful, and unafraid. Her ballet dancing is her only escape, her only peace. “All little girls wanted a Prince Charming. A knight in shining f-----g armor. Little did she know, I was the villain in this story.” Their union is unlikely, but Alejandro’s family history puts him in Lexi’s path, giving way to one of the most heart-pounding, tragic, and breathtaking stories I’ve ever read! “Every Devil needs an Angel. And she was mine.” I was afraid to put this book down, for fear of what I’d be missing. It will reel you in and hold you until the very last page. The twists and turns were NEVER-ENDING, and you will gasp out loud with each new revelation. M. Robinson’s stellar writing gives way to storytelling at its absolute best. There is no way you are prepared for what unravels in this book…you can’t NOT read it. You’ve written something special M. Robinson…UTTER PERFECTION!!!

Love is so powerful Reading El Diablo will make you hate and love Martinez as well. He is a devil in a mix way. I think El Diablo is the best book for me from the author M. Robinson. This sexy little girl will drive you crazy as always. She likes to play with your mind, heart and especially your soul. She always did an amazing job on her story. El Diablo is so intense, so emotional and oh so good. You might scream, throw your e-reader and hold your breathe. You are in for a bumpy but sweet ride. Hang on tight. El Diablo is a funny book as well. My husband thinks I am crazy 'coz I just laugh while reading my Nook. It is so hot even though Summer is almost over. You might need a fan or perhaps a cold water with lots of ice next to you while reading El Diablo. There are so many ahh moments in the book. I was shocked but amazed aswell. Miss M. Robinson you nailed this book. Thank you so much for bringing El Diablo. Life is boring without the devil in a crazy and sweet way. Disclosure: I received an ARC in exchange of my honest review.

An intoxicating tale of deceit, intrigue, and passion with an incredible story of love. There are many twists and turns that you won't see coming. Alejandro Martinez is a dark and beautiful mobster. Life has left him bitter, hard, and full of a lifetime of regrets. From the moment he sees her, he wants her. For him it's always been her. Lexi is a woman who has been knocked down by life but keeps standing. She copes, she fights, she loves. Through her dancing she finds healing. This book will give you all the feels. I loathed Martinez as much as I hated him. My hating him didn't last long. Describing Martinez and Lexis's relationship is like lightning striking for the first time and you feel the energy running through your veins. This was a feeling that Lexi tried to stay away from all her life until the night she met Martinez. El Diablo is crackling with emotion and sizzling with passion. The past and future of Martinez's and Lexi's love story is epically electric. This book will leave you heart broken, happily satisfied but begging for more. M. Robinson puts so much heart and love into her books. I love and adore her writing. She is truly a talented and gifted author who is in a league all her own. I was given an ARC for a honest review. Author M Robinson is the #QueenOfHearts and #TheQueenOfAngst #HerAlphasMakeYouSwoon This book is exceptionally written with a plot that will rip your heart apart and put it back together again. I anxiously await each of her new releases since they draw me in and keep me immersed in her amazing books. I cried, screamed, held my breath and fell in love between the pages. Wow… still not sure how to sum up El Diablo… Alejandro truly is the devil, but he wasn’t always that way. Lexi is a young woman who does her best to keep her distance from men….but there is something about Alejandro that is different. El Diablo starts about a few decades ago during his youth before she was born and you understand that he was born to be the devil. But as a boy, he had an amazing heart for his mother and sister, and even her best friend Sophia. He became a man too early protecting those he loved. You see him grow up the son of THE crime boss. There is so much angst (of course M. Robinson is the Queen of Angst) in this book…. You like him, you hate him, you love him, you HATE HIM and you will love him…. When he first meets Lexi in a chance meeting there is a pull, she is drawn to him in ways she doesn’t understand, she avoids men… but he is different. So many things come full circle in this book and you will get to see the Good ‘Ole Boys too. This book is so intense and will have you on edge, but it is so amazing and M. Robinson did it again with an amazingly angst ridden book!

Wow! I don't know how M. Robinson did it but she made me fall in love with the Devil himself. This books spans several decades and we get to learn more and more about the circumstances that made Alejandro and Lexie into what they are today. M. has done it again pulling on my heart strings from chapter 1. Seriously I had a knot in my throat through most of the book that was trying to escape into tears. I kept thinking I know where this is going, but I was wrong. So many hidden truths and lies! Basically you just need to sit back and enjoy the ride, warning your emotions will be thrown around alot! This is s standalone, but it is connected to her Good 'ole Boys series, which totally rocks.

Alejandro Martinez, aka El Diablo, had me love him, hate him, love him, hate him and well, I ended up on the love end when all was said and done. What an emotional roller coaster. We met Martinez in Crave Me where you think you know this man and his warped, evil ways but boy, we didn’t know anything. M Robinson is a master as delivering the angst and drama with so many unexpected twists along the way. Just when I thought I had Martinez figured out, she would drop the bomb and my opinion would shift. At the same time, we meet Lexi. My heart bled for Lexi several times on her journey. She faces so many difficult situations that could have truly traumatized her but she continually impressed me with her strength to pull herself up and push on, fighting for her dreams and a life she knew she deserved. Along the way she meets Martinez and loses her heart all together but can you really love the Devil. Does the devil deserve a happily ever after? Grab the tissue and settle in for a crazy, sexy, gut-wrenching roller coaster ride of love and redemption.

The Queen of Angst does it again! If you read the Good ole Boys series you met Mr. Alejandor Martinez. What you don't get is all the insanity that led up to the man he is today. Born into a life he was never sure he wanted, he spent his childhood years being groomed to take over the family mafia business for his dad one day. He sees things no child should see and sadly, it's those things that mold him into El Diablo. Loved by few and feared by all he lives the only life he's ever known and then one day he meets someone and it all changes. Lexi didn't have the best up bringing either but she was bound and determined to survive. When she gets accepted into the school of her dreams she needs money and she needs it fast. She marches her self right into El Diablo's world and everything that comes next will rock your world. The can't fight the undeniable attraction to each other and even though he knows it's not what's right, he just can't seem to let her go. But once all the secrets from their past are exposed can what they feel for each other be enough to survive? This book contains it all. Love, laughter, anger, joy and some steamy, steamy scenes fill up a book that when you finish will leave you saying, "Wow. What just happened?" So, grab your copy, sit back, relax and enjoy the ride. :)

Ok so holy crap she does it again. I mean seriously, she once again took my heart, ripped it out of my chest, wrung it out, stomped on it, put it in a shredder, torched it, stabbed it, healed it, and put it back in my chest. So this is the amazing story of Martinez. A man that is not a good, decent man, and hasn't been that kind of a man since he was young. His whole world changed one night when he was a young man. That one night literally rocked his entire world and had rippling effects that never seem to stop. Little does he know that this one event is going to shape the man he becomes. Martinez is The Dominant man that doesn't make any excuses for his behavior. He doesn't do relationships, ever. He doesn't do comforting, cuddling, loving, or anything of the sort. Martinez is a man that only needs women long enough to get what he wants, that release under his terms. Lexi is a young woman that has had the worst sort of life growing up. She has pretty much had to raise herself, face down evil as a young girl, and do it all knowing that there is no one out there for her. All she has in her life is her dancing. Lexi doesn't do relationships, she doesn't really get close to others or let them get close to her, she doesn't like people touching her, and honestly, she is ok with that. These two people couldn't seem more different if they tried. They seriously seem to be on polar opposites of the scale of good vs evil. However as we all know, things aren't always what they appear. Just when you think you have it figured out, the rug get pulled out from under you and down you fall. They try to learn from their mistakes, however, that isn't always easy. How do you stop your heart from beating?? I am going to be honest, I have loved every one of the books from M. Robinson. However, El Diablo is something on a whole other level. This book moved me to tears, made me stop and take a time out while in the middle of reading, and even process for quite some time after I was done. This was a book that once again, and like normal, is filled with angst. It totally gives you a giant case of the feels and makes you go the range of tears, love, laughter, hatred, agony, heartbreak, wanting to hurt someone, wanting to hold them close then turn around and push them away, keep them close and then run away from them. Basically it puts you through an entire relationship, but through the words of this amazing author. Once again, the #QueenOfAngst delivers and still reigns supreme!!

This book is hotttttt!!!! I spent a few hours reflecting on this book before getting this review up!! I wanted to work through my thoughts and feelings of this book. Soooo much went on sooo quickly. Soooo many twists and turns kept me sucked in this book. I couldn't put it down. But for real though I was addicted! Where to begin! This book had it all! From super hot sexy scenes, to dark intense dangerous moments. Each pulled me under in different ways! There was angst, passion, power, love, hurt, and pain. I felt it all! I laughed and cried! Wanted to beat the you know what out of Martinez. Hated him again and loved him. He was sooooo complex and deep. Sooo many facades that kept him intriguing and pulling for him. Dark, damaged, and dangerous kept me on my toes waiting for more!! He maybe my favorite book boyfriend. I just LOVED him!! Every side of him! Lexi loved her too! She was not what I expected and that's a good thing! She was soooo strong but soooo damaged. Her growth throughout the book made me love her more. By the end of the book I have come to realize that I am a lot like her. Maybe it's time for me to be a little stronger too. This book was not at all what I played out in my mind and that was AMAZING. It was a great story that I wasn't ready for it to end. A DEFINITE 5 star read and M Robinson just keeps perfecting her craft! Her words, thoughts, and emotions just keep getting better and better!!

I THINK I JUST DIED A LITTLE 5 Crazy stars Holy fekking hell! This is one for the record books. I just literally finished it about 10 minutes ago and I'm fekking reeling from this tale of woe and despair. When you sit down with the Devil make sure you have alcohol and tissues and possibly something to smoke! For real! Alejandro (a.k.a. The Devil or El Diablo) is one messed up man! He's hot, he's cold, he's your worst freaking nightmare, and he's your wettest dream. I was astounded at the life this man lived. From the age of fifteen his life became utter chaos. Life, Death, and violence are just a daily part of his life and he doesn't even seem fazed by it. My god this man is killing me slowly and I think I may like it. Lexi isn't even the person I thought would be our female lead character. In fact for a time I honestly thought she might be a bit taboo for Alejandro. Bad juju kept running through my mind over this girl. I feel like I'm finally able to release the breath I've been holding for the past 48 hours. Ahhhhhh. This girl is one tough cookie. She stands up to the Devil and she loses more times than I can count, but she doesn't let that stop her. I think I may love her just a little bit more than I love Alejandro... Just a little! The supporting character cast is pretty massive! I'll start with my "hates." I hated Alejandro's father for everything he did and everything he stood for and for dragging our beautiful Alejandro into a condemning lifestyle without any disregard for his son's life. I hated Michael for a multitude of reason, but to sum it up with this one, he just never made me feel a connection to him, I couldn't grasp it, but I just know he's not a good person. Now for my "likes," God, I loved Amari and Sophia and Alejandro's Momma. These girls put up with a ton of crap, but they kept up their chins, maybe for appearances only, but they did it. I especially loved the effect they had on Alejandro. Whether he knew it or not, those women played an important role in the shaping of his life. So, you don't need me to tell you this book was fantastic, or that it'll blow your mind. What I will tell you is if you don't fit this into your future reading agenda you're missing out on one of 2016's best books. It's heartbreaking and gripping. It'll put you to the test in more ways than one. I'm not going to say there won't be times when you want to throw it across the room and watch it shatter right along side your heart, but pick up the pieces and keep reading, trust me! The characters are so convincing, so persuasive that they're lives will seem to become more significant than your own. The writing style is what it is... M. Robinson is good at writing an extremely angsty story. No stone left unturned, not one person's life left unchanged, and through it all, the build up to the climax starts the moment you start reading it till you read "the end." I loved it!
