About the Author

Vivian Olson was born February 16, 2004, in Minnesota, and over the years has developed a love for reading and writing. In addition, she plays the violin both at home and in her youth orchestra; but one of her favorite things to do is archery. Vivian began writing "Ela's Diary," when she was in the 4th grade. She didn't finish it until her 7th grade English teacher at Great River School in St. Paul pushed her to finish it for a school project.
