Elemental Pleasure by Lila Dubois, Mari Carr

There's power and passion in three.

When Carly Kenan joined the secretive Trinity Masters in college, she knew that one day she'd have to pay the piper. That day has come. Returning to Boston, Carly meets former Marine Lance Glassco, a mathematician for DARPA, and Preston Kim, a celebrated chemist. Though on the surface they have nothing in common, it's clear the Grand Master thinks that together the three of them can do something amazing. And that's why he's declared that Carly, Lance and Preston must unite. In a ménage.
Tempers flare as they struggle to understand each other, but their physical attraction is explosive, and the sex leaves all of them begging for more. Pushed beyond her limits, Carly runs from Lance and Preston. What she doesn't understand is that she now belongs to them, body and soul...and they belong to her, too. When Lance uncovers a dangerous crime in Preston's firm, Carly is caught in the crossfire and the struggling lovers are forced to move beyond desire...to trust.
The Trinity Masters have the power to make careers and change lives, but there's a price. All members know that the day will come when the Grand Master will select them, and pair them with two others. For the Trinity Masters the strongest bond isn't a pair, but a threesome.

I thought this book was awesome, but it was way too short. I would have liked to read more about their lives. I am disappointed their isn't a sequel.

The Trinity Masters is an old, secret group. The Grand Master helps people with getting started in life and in return he picks who you marry. It usually involves three people. Carly, owner of a gaming system, Lance is ex military and works for DARPA and Preston, who is not unfamiliar with triads, is a chemist specializing in nanotechnology. Preston discovers someone has been embezzling money from his company and before they can do anything Carly is kidnapped. When the kidnappers realize who they have, they decide to ask for ransom but before they can Lance and Preston rescue her. Can they put it behind them or will it tear them apart? Awesome story. Very hot. Be prepared for a cold shower. *RECEIVED A COPY FROM AUTHOR FOR HONEST REVIEW*

Enjoyable read. All the characters are head strong but Preston has a sensitive element which completes the circle. Lance is a hothead and not use to any way other than his. Carly loves her independence so she's unwilling to be treated as a piece of property. I was a little leery with the menage however the men just share one woman and have no sexual contact with each other. I was a little turned off by the brutality Carly experienced when kidnapped though but the experience is a wake-up call for all three & help them despite their differences realize that what is really most important. The Trinity Masters, very interesting/unique concept...where do I sign up, lol
