Who can care for a two hundred pound infant who won't stay "little" for long? Who can work with her to create a language both can understand? Who can share humor, offer reassurance, and learn the lessons of her heart? A cowboy can...and he did. Caring for Amy the elephant from infancy through adulthood, Cowboy Bob forged one of the most unique cross-species relationships ever chronicled. Within these charming pages is the unique true story of a compassionate man, his generous fmaily, and the dear baby elephant who became part of their lives.
