Elf Elementary by Edward Miller
Bold, colorful illustrations and a sleighful of festive Christmas facts give children everything they need to know about the most popular holiday in the world. Join Franklin and his classmates at Elf Elementary, where the required courses include Tree Trimming, Cookie Decorating, and the hardest and most important class of all: Geography.
As Professor Tinsel says, "You'll need to know your way around the world if you want to travel with Santa Claus on Christmas Eve." And that, as for many kids, would be Franklin's Christmas dream come true. This is a book to delight and inform, and guaranteed to put even the biggest Scrooge in a Christmassy mood.

Great book for a wide range of children's ages. The story is pleasant - about the topics a Christmas elf needs to learn. I was surprised by the amount of additional details in the margins of the lovely pictures that relate the history of the celebration of Christmas and also Christmas traditions from around the world. This book can be read again and again.
