About the Author

Armando Bevelacqua is a Lieutenant for the Orlando Fire Department and has been a HazMat Team Leader and Paramedic for 23 years. He holds a BS in Fire Safety Engineering. He is also a member of the Adjunct Faculty of the National Fire Academy, International Association of Fire Fighters Instructor, and a Local Emergency Planning Committee Member. He lectures widely on Hazmat topics.

Richard Stilp is the Director of the Central Florida Fire Academy. He holds the rank of district chief, is a certified paramedic and a licensed RN. Mr. Stilp has a B.A. in Business and an M.A. in Management. He is a hazardous materials technician and certified hazardous materials instructor.
