Seven-year-old Emily thinks travel is exciting and she's on-the-go again! Emily's been to more places, near and far, than most girls her age. That's because her mother writes articles for magazines and newspapers about exciting cities around the world, and when Mama visits those places, Emily gets to tag along. This time, Emily and her mom are taking a big plane to New York City, where they'll explore lots of tall buildings, fun museums, and important monuments, eat in wonderful restaurants, and even ride the subway. There's a surprise or two in store for Emily, too, as she and Mama discover "The Big Apple."

About the Author
Author Patricia Guth has never been the kind to sit still. Both an armchair traveler and an avid wanderer, Pat especially enjoys adventures in the world's busiest and most enticing cities, though doesn't mind exploring the countryside as well. When she's not filling empty pages with words, she's playing the piano or waving her arms in front of the 90-voice women's chorus she founded in 2012. In addition, Pat enjoys spending time with husband Gary and their two children, Ryan and Emily, who grew up way too fast, but she looks forward to new adventures as an empty-nester.
