240 pages. Not really about life after an emp. More like life in a 5 mile cave ( for years) that was stocked by the military with 300 people. Not much about how the rest of us would have to deal with it and thats what i thought i was getting. Will i buy book two? Or three? Probably because i am a sucker to see how a story ends

Great story.  Author is clearly knowledgeable, but he apparently didn't do every well in college English and/or  went to an editor who actually suffererd through an EMP event.  Mistakes on every page like "Hungary tiger" make this book annoyingly unreadable.  After 300 pages, I couldn't take it anymore.  Waste of money.  Read One Second After.  It's a phenominal book about an EMP event.

Outstanding book. It's clear the author has a deep understanding of psychology and an impressive knowledge about the potential effects of an EMP. I enjoyed the book and don't hesitate to recommend it...
