This book is about 50ish pgs. Very funny and not your typical vampire book! Overall a 4.5, & good enough to buy the next in the series! Also nice not to have the "perfect" female character, I love that she's normal !! ***spoiler I do wish that she could do better with the ghosts. Shouldn't there be more since he killed so many people ??

, definitely not a twilight copy and yay for that. The characters grow and become more developed from their introduction at the beginning of the story. There is a subtle comedy between the various characters and the situations that unfold throughout this three-part story. Deidre goes from feeling as though she has no marketable skills to being a care-giver and both main characters come to an understanding as exampled by her boss making her his second in his duel. I am definitely interested in more from this series. It's sure better than t.v.! Thanks.

I enjoyed the book. It was an easy read and very funny. What i didnt enjoy was every time someone was introduced into the chapter the reader was retold info about them. No need to tell the same info over and over. I look forward to the next book.

What do you do when your prospective boss asks if you know how to bury bodies? Run screaming, that's what! First part of a series about a stuck-in-the-past vampire and his new "I'm gonna teach him the ways we do things in the modern world" housekeeper. Great fun!

The only thing that could have made this better was if it were a full length novel. I was not ready for it to end. Excellent writing. I'm stealing the dust german shepherd line, too. Can't wait for more.

THIS? is HYSTERICAL!!!! You REALLY need to make this a full length novel, J. I'm stealing the dust bunny German Shepherd phrase from you, BTW, & have full intention of using it to its hilarious max, LOL. "Loser" Deidre takes a job as a housekeeper for a centuries old vampire w/ screamingly (literally) funny results. She won't let him drain the life out of his victims anymore.....they're still working that out ~ & he thinks she looks 'like a floozy' because her skirt is knee length (told you he was OLD). I await the 2nd installment anxiously!!
