About the Author
Yvonne Maumau currently works for the Department of Education in People Management Practices at Human Resources. She is a teacher of the Word, and an intercessor who has evangelized in many places in Cape Town. She is currently pursuing her Master's degree in Child and Family Studies from the University of the Western Cape. Her focus is on building healthy families. She is also the founder of Umkhosi Wamantokazi Wezwelonke Movement, a mentor of Girls 4 Christ. She has become very influential in churches, especially to teens, because of her mothering spirit that desires to love and nurture others. She coaches teens and young adults, abused and vulnerable individuals, and helps families to resolve conflicts. Empowering Parents of Teens is her fourth book.
