About This Premium Edition with CD-ROM

REA’s unique interactive flashcard book with CD-ROM will help you succeed on the EMT-Paramedic Exam so you can be certified and excel in your exciting and rewarding career as an Emergency Medical Technician.

With this flashcard book you won’t have to deal with an awkward box and its hundreds of loose cards. Here, it’s all bound neatly inside, with questions on one side, a place to write your response, and the answers and explanations on the flip side. It is portable and useful in many ways—for quick study, rapid review, and easy reference.

In this Premium Edition with CD-ROM, we’ve made it easy for you to hone your study skills. As you go through the book, look for the STOP sign. When you see it, pause your study and take one of the four test-readiness quizzes on CD. This will test how well you know the material up to that point. It’s an excellent way to build knowledge and confidence. When done, move ahead until you reach the next STOP sign.

Also included on the CD are four invaluable reference charts that you can return to time and again: Anatomy & Physiology, The Skeletal System, The Muscular System, and Cardiorespiratory System. In the book, bonus material explores the history of EMTs, the types of situations EMTs respond to, and the current state of the growing profession.

We are proud of this one-of-a-kind versatile flashcard book, and we hope you find it valuable in your quest to become an Emergency Medical Technician.
