En La Habana nunca hace frío cuenta las peripecias musicales, poéticas y políticas de un grupo de jóvenes habaneros en el año 1972, jóvenes ilusionados con el movimiento "hippie" de la época, que no sólo llegó a verse y oírse con dificultades a la isla, sino que fue severamente prohibido. Eva, la narradora, forma parte -junto con sus amigas Bada y Pilzy- del underground cubano. Las tres creen firmemente que la vida siempre estará por encima de ideologías e intolerancias. It's Never Cold in Havana recounts the musical, poetic and political adventures of a group of young Havana residents in 1972, young people excited by the "hippie" movement of the time, which was not only difficult to see and hear on the island, but was severely banned. Eva, the narrator, together with her friends Bada and Pilzy, is part of the Cuban underground. The three of them firmly believe that life will always be above ideologies and intolerances.
