Trace is about to ask her mob boss husband to do the unthinkable...allow his enemy Phoenix De Lange to train her in combat, the very same enemy who nearly killed her the year before.
But Phoenix isn't the man he once was, and now he's out to prove to everyone, himself included that he can be trusted.

Most Helpful Customer Reviews
Loved seeing Trace coming into her own as one time enemy Phoenix begins to redeem himself teaching her self defense and leading her through the inner minefield of past trauma to be the powerful woman she was meant to be. For context this follows Elicit and was included like an epilogue at the end of of that book.
