About the Author

Bobbie Howard is the wife of Michael Howard, a retired United States Air Force Security Policeman, and she is the mother of two children, Heather Lee and Mathew. During her first year of home schooling, Bobbie received her GED from Wilson High School in Washington, D.C.
Bobbie has written numerous editorials, been featured in three newspaper articles dealing with home education, had articles published in The Teaching Home Magazine, done a television interview for a local Portsmouth, New Hampshire, television station on home education, and received the Great American Family Community Award at the local level for 1989 and 1990 from First Ladies Nancy Reagan and Barbara Bush, and K. Wayne Scott, President of the National Family Society. These awards were presented to the Howard family by then Colonel Orin L. Godsey, Commander of Pease Air Force Base in New Hampshire.

I love love this book! Homeschoolers everywhere should read it. I love the relationships between the parents and there children. Bobbie Howard has done an exceptional job in painting a picture of Homeschooling life that isn't so far out there that others can't obtain . Bravo!
