Also recommend "Treat Your Own Rotator Cuff" if you have a shoulder problem that interferes with your weightlifting.

I've purchased many books on bodybuilding throughout the years. If I had to choose just one book to keep it would be this one. It covers a wide range of topics and the photography is motivational. The workout programs included are comprehensive. Though myself a natural bodybuilder, there is not one facet of the sport which is not examined. This includes the use of supplements and pharmaceuticals (which realistically play a major part especially at pro levels.)

Has lots of detailed and pictures, but the excersises are not shown. The book gives you lots of information and great ways to make routines to follow at the gym.

Loved it.Information was up-to-date and had beautiful illustrations. I've been bodybuilding for a while but it included info on stuff I hadn't thought about before. I also have arnold's encylopedia which is great from the historical perspective but I have found this more useful.
