Crispin is on the final leg of his journey to reach freedom. He's heading for Iceland because according to his father figure, Bear, who just died, that is the last place for freedom. But the road isn't easy. Crispin must figure out how he and Troth - his friend and companion on the road to freedom - will reach Iceland. With no money, food, or protection, the two must find a way to reach this mysterious land safely. But when Troth decides to stay with some nuns who can provide her shelter and safety, Crispin must go on to Iceland himself. He meets up with a band of musicians and thinks he has finally found sanctuary, only to find out that this misfit family are thieves and murderers. Can Crispin free himself from this band? Will he ever make it to Iceland? Avi writes a fantastic end to the CRISPIN trilogy in THE END OF TIME. Full of twists and turns, the reader is never left bored. Avi creates a beloved character that the reader roots for from beginning to end. However, be forewarned: the ending will leave you wanting more.

I had to read this series for a report for school. The first book hooked me at the first few pages. I would recomend that you read the books in order to understand the characters and how they came into play. I dont understand how you can give this book one star. If you do i want reasoning because this is one of the best books ever. I cant put it down. If you dont read the trilogy in order though i would get confused and maybe not like it. I rate five stars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:-)

Avi brings to life yet more aspects of medieval society and conditions in this final volume of the trilogy. As well, he poses life-and-death moral dilemmas confronting "a broken boy" - dilemmas faced, unhappily, by many a boy or girl today faced with the threat of gang life, and gang death. Well done.

This is the last book of the Crispin trilogy. As in the preceding two books, Crispin: The End of Time is about living in an unjust world, trying to survive, learning who to trust and living by your wits. There is not a lot of humor in this trilogy. It is more true to life in the 14th century. In this book Crispin must learn to go on alone and then to, once again, assume the responsibility for another, at the expense of his own safety. Excellent plot, believable characters, and a thrilling dash of a read.

Hey guys! Thanks Sam, i will try to post sooner (: Question of the post: Would you like to read the sequel of this book if i make one? Comments and questions at gods res. 2! Next part at Abarat book 1! Also to the people who are faking the story parts, please quit it. Its really annoying. Thank you for stopping if you read this. --- What i mean by a monster room is faces of monsters all on the wall. They stare at us creepily. We stand in a huddle with our backs toward each other. We all take out our weapons. A knock on the door scares the living daylights out of us. A tall lady in a white lab coat waks in. She has a cloth rapped around her head. She also had sunglasses on. I thought she had a disease and didnt want to show her face. "Hello." She says. "You guys are my next paitents." "Oh ok." Sam stammers. "Just curious, but why are their monster heads on the walls?" Sienna asks. "They are my most prized possestions deary." She responds in a calm tone. "Ok." Sienna turns to me th a pleading look. "As you can see, Doctor, we all got cut up pretty bad and would like you to tell us if we are ok or not." I explain. "How did you get cut up like this?" She asks. "We got beat up in the Lotus Hotel." John speaks up. "I see now. That is a dangerous hotel indeed. My husband had stayed there for what he thought was 5 minutes, but it was 10 years. He was killed when he tried to escape. He had finally had common sense." I see a tear trickle down her cheek as she explains the story in great detail. She looks at my face first. "Very handsome indeed. I mean-- You got cut up really bad. I know just the solution. Follow me." Sshe walks out the door and i follow her. Before i walk out the door i take a desperate look at my friends. They give me back pleading looks. She leads me down a hallway and takes me into a room. There ar statues in the room that looks a lot like people. Who is she? I ask myself. Medusa was the first name that popped into my head. I dont want to die like this. Getting turned into a statue. I shiver. Just then, my only thought was this. Run. --- Thanks for reading guys! Comments at gods res. 2! •JW :)
