The riveting conclusion to the international bestselling sci-fi thriller STARTERS! Would you rent out your body to the elderly so they could be young again?

Someone is after Starters like Callie and Michael—teens with chips in their brains. They want to experiment on anyone left over from Prime Destinations—Starters who can be controlled and manipulated. With the body bank destroyed, Callie no longer has to rent herself out to creepy Enders. But Enders can still get inside her mind and make her do things she doesn't want to do. Like hurt someone she loves. Having the chip removed could save her life—but it could also silence the voice in her head that might belong to her father. Callie has flashes of her ex-renter Helena's memories, too . . . and the Old Man is back, filling her with fear. Who is real and who is masquerading in a teen body?

No one is ever who they appear to be, not even the Old Man. Determined to find out who he really is and grasping at the hope of a normal life for herself and her younger brother, Callie is ready to fight for the truth. Even if it kills her.

I loved this sequel so much! Totally worth the wait. It's unique and special all on it's own, but it caries Callie's story on pretty much from where we left her at the end of STARTERS. Every page is a thrill. And I especially loved that we got to meet some interesting new characters. But that ending!!! You think you know everything... but you don't KNOW!

If you loved STARTERS you will absolutely adore ENDERS! This is truly the best sequel i have ever read in my life! The characters are so well developed and are easy to fall in love with. Plus, the new characters are AMAZING! Especially Hyden, he is such a mystery!   Each page is full of so much action that you really never know what is going to happen next and No one can be trusted.. My favorite part is the ending though, i mean really , such a shock! I really couldn't put this book down and you would be SO silly not to buy it.  I really wish that there was another book in this AMAZING series!

Enders (Starters #2) by Lissa Price is book two and I didn't read book one and did okay but it did refer to some things in book one I didn't know. It wasn't enough to hinder the story. I would say it could be a stand alone. I really liked this book. Poor people could get chips in their head and rich people could rent their bodies, taking over with the rich mind. But the chip still has more than one purpose they are finding out as someone's head explodes as a warning. It is an action packed sci-fi that is fast paced and creepy because it is so invasive and leaves the chipped people so helpless. Great read. Got this book from the library.

I loved the first one Starters, even though it had small grammatical errors and was predictable in its "plot twist"...BUT this is more of the same, but more lame. I am so sad right now. I LIKED the premise and everything, but this book fell very short. THANKFULLY though, moving past the ghastly "twists" (seriously, ugh) the book didn't end in a romance. For that I am very grateful. (It was bizarre enough with Blake being the "old man" in Starters, then H jacking that poor Jeremy to get a kiss...but the being all "yeah the old man? that was me" was a little much.) Highlights: The ending felt good while not forced. Callie found her Dad and that was nice. Lowlights (not previously mentioned): The "twist" with the husband/wife team that nabbed and "tested" on them. Felt forced and bogus. I will not ever read anything by this author again because she tries WAY TOO HARD to make twists happen when they don't need to. I am giving this a solid three star because it did bring closure and again, didn't end in romance, but it left a lot to be desired. I loved this book! I've been a huge fan of Lissa's work since day 1, and she hasn't disappointed me yet!  Enders promises the reader more twist and more exploration into the world that was once tormented by Prime Destinations. Now the ex-donors, called Metals, are given their consciousness back, but that doesn't mean they're safe...  I will say that the pacing of Enders isn't as even as Starters. I'd say that's forgiving considering onslaught of mind explosions she sets off in the delightfully lengthy climax at the end. The series concludes with wonderful closure that satisfies and wraps up all of the conflicts, but leaves the door open just a crack on the hopeful future of her dystopia. If you like Dystopian Fiction, you'll love this!  -Anthony

I was too eager to finish this book because I really enjoyed reading Starters. I had put down this book so many times, although unintentionally, because of school works. Fortunately today, I’ve finally had the chance to finish it. With the destruction of Prime, Callie hoped to live a normal life with her brother, Tyler and friend, Michael, but The Old Man has still got a hold of her because of her chip. Determined to bring down The Old Man, she sets out a mission to bring him down for once. It’s pretty obvious Callie wants her chip removed from her brain but there’s the risk of losing connection with her father and of course, the risk of losing her head because of the explosive incorporated to the chip. I really loved Callie’s character development. For me, she’s one of the best female leads in this genre. I also liked how Michael’s character seemed to prove himself worthy of all the actions in this book. His character was more exposed in this book compared to the first one. Hyden’s character was a big surprise for me. I used to ship Callie with Michael but upon Hyden’s appearance, I just don’t know anymore. He’s really intriguing but amazing. His character was just this big suckerpunch hitting me square in the jaw. I absolutely loved this book. It’s very much action-packed, thrilling and intriguing. The best part was the slight lack of romance between the characters which really emphasized the story. Although, there were some times where I found myself gushing over Hyden and Callie, or Michael sometimes. I just don’t know and I don’t really care who she ends up with because I believe that Callie is a strong character and doesn’t need a back-up character to define her strengths for her. I loved the twists and turns in the book. It’s just an amazing conclusion but I kind of felt that the ending was a bit rushed, especially with the way Callie handled the enemy. It was freaking badass, but I really felt that it was rushed. But still, badass. Hahaha! This book will most definitely be enjoyed by fans of science fiction and dystopia.
