About the Author

K.C. Stewart is the self published author of the Hailey Holloway series and most recently, the Adirondack Pack series. All her life she had fantasized and day-dreamed on a regular basis but it wasn’t until she began writing short stories that she made those fantasies a reality. She has graduated to novels but still dabbles in the occasional flash fiction and short story. Because of her love for reading and the written word, K.C. is currently continuing her education at Clarion University for Library Science. When she isn’t taking photographs, studying or writing, she is supporting a very real gummy bear habit. Currently, she lives with her boyfriend, german shepherds and cats in central Pennsylvania.

This is book 3 in the Rusted and Reckless series and it features Sawyer and Darcy. What an exhilarating read! So many secrets were exhausting. I really feel for Darcy and the depression she battled, sometimes daily. This story was a roller coaster ride for her. I knew the secrets were going to be rough but in the end totally worth it. Thank God for Red. I loved Sawyer’s date for the award show. Priceless! Awesome read! Great story line with amazing characters. I can’t wait to read book 4.

This is Darcy’s and Sawyer’s story, Rusted and Reckless have been having such a hard time since their lead singer Phoenix walked out at the end of their show. Sawyer has no idea where his brother Phoenix disappeared to and he’s trying to keep the band together luckily he can fall into Darcy’s arms. Darcy is the assistant manager of the band and she knows all about Phoenix’s Problems she was behind the door when they were talking about him. Darcy is sleeping with Sawyer and no one knows and that’s the way they both prefer it, Sawyer thinks that Darcy knows where Phoenix is but she denies it. I loved this story actually the whole series is absolutely fantastic so if you want to get a fantastic read / series then this is the one to get you won’t be disappointed. This is a 5 ⭐️ plus read and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

Endure is the 3rd book in the Rusted and Reckless rock romance series. It can be read as a standalone, but I do recommend reading the previous 2 books. Nine months ago, Sawyer’s brother and lead singer of Rusted and Reckless, Nix, walked off the stage mid-concert and was never seen again. Sawyer holds out hope that Nix will comeback and yet, worries that Nix may be dead from ODing. Darcy, the band’s manager, has been in love with Sawyer for 3 years, but their relationship has been nothing more than hook-ups during times they are in the same time. She wants more and as it seems like their relationship is headed in that direction, secrets and lies start to weigh on her. Afterall, she knows things about Nix and yet hasn’t revealed them to the band. I really liked both characters. Sawyer stepped up to the plate to keep the band going and was fiercely loyal to his brother even though he had no idea where he was. He became a mother hen and you could truly understand his fear that something would happen to any one of the other band members. Darcy, while loving Sawyer, put her loyalty to Nix first. It was hard to not want to shake her! Starting a relationship with so many lies is a recipe for disaster. If I was Sawyer, I would have a hard time trusting her after the truth comes out even if it was kept from him for a good reason. Still, I couldn’t help but feel for her - she was stuck between a rock and a hard place - trying to not lose her job because she was in a relationship with a client and trying to maintain her loyalty to a man who up and left while knowing that keeping this from Sawyer would hurt him. I received this book as an ARC from Booksprout in exchange for an honest review.

This is the third installment of Charlotte Casey's Rusted and Reckless Series about a country music band. I think this one is my favorite one so far. Darcy has secrets. Many secrets but two of them could end her career and/or break her heart. For three years now, she and Sawyer (front man of the hit country band Rusted and Reckless) have been seeing each other without anyone knowing except Nix (Sawyer's missing brother) who helped them get together. She could be fired if her boss find out. The other big secret is she's the only one who knows what happened to Nix when he disappeared over 9 months ago. When Sawyer finds out, she is sure he will no longer want anything to do with her. Sawyer has a couple of dilemmas. One, he is in love with Darcy and wants to make their relationship public at least with the band and he has to find Nix before the label makes the band replace him. Which no one in the band wants to do and they are refusing to do. So finally Sawyer needs to hire a private detective because he can't find Nix on his own. He asks Darcy to help hire one but she can't cause then he will find out what she did 9 months ago. Solution? Get her brother to play detective and stall Sawyer. Sawyer is not having any of that and ends up hiring his own detective. This is where the secrets start to come out and there are more than what Darcy thought. Mystery, suspense, heartbreak and a brother that they thought was lost forever. I enjoyed this book and recommend it. It was a quick good read. I can't wait for the next one. I volunteered to read a pre-release copy for my honest opinion.
