She's the enemy's biggest threat.
But he just might be the savior they all need.

Although she inherited her mother's psychic gifts, Taryn Oliver didn't foresee the consequences of possessing those special powers. Now, as the primary target of the ruthless aliens who are plotting humanity's enslavement, Taryn has to find a way to thwart their plans. After meeting the mysterious, half-alien Lir Gideon, she fights the attraction she feels for him, understanding that the very future of humanity could be at stake. What she doesn't realize is that her connection with Gideon may be the key to saving not only everyone she loves, but the entire planet as well.

Taryn is used to feeling like an odd duck. She may have inherited her mothers psychic talents but her friends and cousins are all mostly alien hybrids of one degree or another. When she agreed to go with the reptilians she never thought that that would be just the beginning of the adventure. When she and Gideon are thrown together and the depth of both the reptilian and human governments are uncovered, they must work together to prevent the coup which could see Earth decimated! Gideon may be reptilian but he is nothing like his counterparts. He likes humans, especially Taryn. As they work together to foil the dastardly plans afoot, they realise there is more to their attachment than necessity. Sparks are flying! Another fabulous dip into the world of Sedona and all its otherwordliness!!! I love this series and I;m so happy that all the loose ends have been tied up! Taryn is a fantastic character and capable of so much even though she thinks she is lacking as she is "only human". Gideon is a wonderful hero! He may not have the classic handsome visage of other heroes, but his quirkiness makes him unique. And besides that's what his camouflage "watch" is for! I'd love more from this series!
