This is the third book in the series and I loved it. This is an enemies to lovers story line that kept me riveted from the first to the last chapter. Piper Rayne is a relatively new author to me and why on earth that is I have no idea. Having absolutely loved Crushing on the Cop (book 2 in the series) I immediately jumped at the opportunity to read Engaged to the EMT. Luca Bianco and Lauren Hunt have always had a love/hate relationship and yet anyone else can see that these two have intense chemistry that absolutely sizzles when they interact. It is impossible for Lauren to avoid Luca as her best friends are with his brothers. When Luca ask her to be his fake fiancee, Lauren agrees. However, neither of them expect that the attraction is going to explode and that a fake engagement will morph into real feelings which will put both their hearts at risk. Will Luca and Lauren take the leap from fake to real or will it all explode? One click and find out. I loved how all the Bianco men are with their mother but the relationship that Luca has is just heart melting and the camaraderie Luca shares with his brothers had me laughing out loud at times. This is one of those series that I am really sad to see end but I believe Piper Rayne have saved the best for last.

4.5 stars I loved the first two books in the Blue Collar Brothers series so of course I wanted to find out what will happen with Luca and Lauren. Though, I have to be honest. I wasn't a huge Luca fan based on the previous books. But I can honestly say that I was pleasantly surprised. The book was definitely not what I expected it to be. It was so much better. As I mentioned above, before reading Luca's book, he wasn't one of my favorite brothers. But the story reveals a side of him that is not visible in the previous books. Under the under the arrogant exterior is hidden a romantic and tender heart which he shows only to the people he keeps closest to his heart. And even with them, it is very rarely that he shows who he really is. And that new side of Luca, definitely endeared him to me, though there are times when he still acts a little bit immature. If you've read the first two books in the series , you would know that Luca and Lauren don't get along but everything chances once Lauren agrees to a fake engagement for Maria's (Luca's mother) sake. And though, it is not a smooth sailing from there, things definitely change. The constant bickering is still there but it is also accompanied by an undeniable attraction. And with every passing day Luca and Lauren's feelings grow. Especially once the reason why they've not been getting along since high school is revealed. In a few words, this is a fun, romantic, relaxing and super sexy read. There are some notes of suspense here and there but they just add to the story and make it even better. So, if you are in the mood for a great read just before the holidays, be sure to pick yourself a copy asap. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

“We met at the corner of love and hate. Luckily our paths crossed there again, but the second time we took the right path...love.” Engaged to the EMT is probably one of the best enemies to lovers romance I have ever read, so needless to say, it’s a top pick for romantic comedy for 2018! In fact, the entire series is a top favorite of the year as well. We have gotten the other Bianco brothers’ stories, so now we finally get Luca’s. I knew it would be special, and it far exceeded my expectations. Luca and Lauren don’t like each other, that isn’t a secret. When Luca asks Lauren to be his fake fiancee, no one is more surprised that she is when she actually agrees to do it. She admits he is a jerk, but it’s an offer she really can’t refuse. All of us who have gotten to know these two in the earlier books knows this is the worst thing that could happen or it could turn out to be the thing that forces them to really take a good hard look at why they feel the way they do about one another. They might just be surprised at what they discover. As with the earlier books, I fell hook, line, and sinker for this couple. It’s all in the way Piper Rayne wrote the book. It’s from each one of their POV’s, and it’s written as if they are talking to the readers as if we are their confidantes. As I have written earlier, it’s no secret these two barely tolerate each other. It’s been that way since high school. As they are thrown together in this charade, they actually get to know one another as adults, and they are surprised by what they discover about one another. Luca is definitely good-looking; Lauren can admit that. She begins seeing how big his heart is underneath that sexy, arrogant facade he shows the world. He is learning to respect Lauren for her strength and independence. They also admire that competitive spirit each of them has. Boy, are they competitive! It’s Lauren’s competitive spirit that makes Lauren a female lead who really stands out! I have read each book in the series, and I have loved each one. Piper Rayne does a phenomenal job of making each story different. They do the same with each character. I have loved each one for very different reasons. Even if they are brothers, each one is very different and their own man. The same goes for the women who fall in love with them. What is the same is the humor, sexual chemistry, and romance that will melt your heart! It’s those very things that bring me back to this dynamic duo again and again! I was very sorry to say goodbye to the Bianco clan. I loved catching up with them in each and every book. The writers do such a great job of including earlier characters in the later books. For me, that builds my bond with the story and characters. I’m so glad we will get to see more of them when we get a series about the Bianco’s cousins, The Mancini’s. I will definitely be looking forward to that one!!!!

Luca Bianco and Lauren Hunt have known each other since high school. She used to date one of his good friends. Her best friends are in serious relationships with his brothers. She can't seem to get away from him and she can't him. She thinks he's a player and an egomaniac. Luca seems to live to get under Lauren's skin. They're bantering is what really drew me into this story. They're hilarious. You just know from the get go that there is some serious attraction hidden beneath the surface between these two. Luca has never been one for a serious relationship, never saw the need for one until now-his mom is having a serious operation and he wants her to be at ease with his life as she faces her surgery. So he makes a deal with Lauren that she can't refuse to be his fake fiance until after his mom's surgery. What I really loved about this book and about the way it was written was while yes, there is undercurrents of heat building up between these two they actually saw and know the 'real' person each other was. No longer took each other at face value. I think it added a layer of dynamic to their building relationship. Made stronger, more realistic. So what happens when the surgery is unsuccessful, the engagement is longer than expected and they decide to change the dynamics of their fake relationship.... This was a fun read that I thoroughly enjoyed.

Perfect ending to a fabulous series. Engaged To The EMT was the perfect ending to the ‘Blue Collar Brothers’ series by Piper Rayne. We’ve seen and heard quite a lot from both Luca Bianco and Lauren Hunt in the previous two books. Luca has a close relationship with his two brothers and Lauren is best friend with their now better halves. So, it was interesting to see how this caustic relationship between them would be resolved. Piper and Rayne pulled out all the stops on this one and made a story that wrung all the feels out of me. It was emotional, a little angsty when a chat between the brothers is overheard by Lauren and she gets the wrong idea. She and Luca fought all through the previous books, so who knew the deep feelings they were hiding. Especially Luca. My word, that boy will make you swoon, ladies. He’s been hiding his true feelings for Lauren and when the truth comes out, there’s not going to be a dry eye in the house. Book 3 continues in the same vein as 1 & 2, giving us glimpses of the lives surrounding the couple, and letting us know how mama Bianco is doing. Luca is quite the mama’s boy who’s hiding a heart of gold under his paramedics uniform but that’s not all there is to him. He’s tough, sexy and pretty demanding when he wants to be. Lauren doesn’t let him get away with it and calls him out. She’s strong, independent but with a soft heart that just wants to find her true love. She never thought it would be Luca Bianco. Luca is about to show her just how wrong she is.

Omgah This book was entertaining and so fabulous to read I didnt stop till i finished it! Luca Bianco....be still my beating heart! That man has such a big....heart....youngest boy in the family of 3 sons but also his mama’s boy and it really made him endearing to me in a big way! What happens when you become fake engaged to your love to hate friend??? This was really the most fun to read book that had snark and sass but also some really funny banter between all the characters So much to love about this book you just have to read it yourself! Love, hate, true friendships, family, sizzling chemistry and all that made this story amazing to read! The authors did a fantastic job writing Lucas story! I would dearly love to be a part of the Bianco family, I mean who wouldn’t, especially with the way they love wholeheartedly! Sigh and swoon big time!!

This is seriously the best of the three books of the series (not that the prior ones weren't great, because the Bianco bothers rock!). Luca and Lauren have been hinted throughout the series and their competitive nature was always on display. They are a bit immature (but who isn't in their twenties?) and the good thing is that Piper Rayne shows her characters as they are, humans (and funny, and sexy...). Luca is trying to be on his mother goodside for her heart operation and asked Lauren to be his fake fiancée for a while. She reluctantly agreed and begins to see Luca in a way that makes her heart beat stronger. It is the beginning of a great rom com with much fun, sexy times, groveling and wonderful characters. You will love the Bianco brothers!

I was all prepared not to like Luca. He's the charmer of the Bianco brothers, that's for sure, but people tend to underestimate his heart. There's a depth there that it well hidden, but a treasure when exposed. For that reason Luca turned out to be my favorite of the brothers. He and Lauren bring out the best and worst in each other, all it takes is a little love and understanding to give them the heart to balance their emotions.
