This is yet another Kindred book full of lust, adversity, struggle with inner self and overcoming all to find the deep bonding love that only one can find with a Kindred. From the first word you are captivated and enslaved. Lonarra Trin is a merchant captain in need of a slave for appearances only, to deal with the woman on Yonnie Six for business. In a Flesh Bazaar, she finds it in Thrace S'ver, only she gets more than she bargains for. Thrace S'ver is a strong Kindred male who is emotional wounded by his past as a slave and his life is saved by Lonarra Trin in the Flesh Bazaar, when she buys him to save his life. Together they have to deal with each other and overcome their fears on Yonnie Six, all while someone is trying to destroy them. If Lonarra can overcome the barbaric laws on her home world of Zetta Prime, where it is forbidden to have relations with a male, will she be able to be free to love Thrace. If Thrace is strong enough to get through to Lonarra, will they get the love they deserve from each other. Only then will they be enslaved to each other.

I’ve read the previous 13 books in this series so I think that speaks on itself about how much I enjoy them, and this book is no different. I completely enjoy how this series is interconnects all of the books so in order to completely enjoy them, I suggest you read them in order. The first 5 books in this series are still my top 5 books from this collection. Paranormal reads are definitely my favorite and when it comes to this author, I haven’t read a book from her that I haven’t enjoyed. I wish some of the females were a bit stronger in this series but I guess to show the “dominant” traits in the males the female shouldn’t be just as strong. If Lonnara and Thrace want to survive and make it out of their situation alive they must learn to trust each other completely and go against everything they were taught. It was a great read seeing how things would turn out. I’m happy with this story and I look forward to reading the next book in the series.

Overall Rating: 4.5 Rockin’ ★★★★☆ What would happen if a slave and his mistress fell in love? What if they were from two very different worlds, one all female and one all male? Could it really work out? Enslaved book fourteen in the Brides of the Kindred series by Evangeline Anderson, once again brings us to the collectively created world of Kindred Warriors, strong women and bonds created by the Goddess herself. Continuing the storyline from the last novel, we are thrust into a story that will have you in stitches one moment, in tears the next and yearning for more until the very end. Ms. Anderson’s creative mind will blow you away as you read page after page. The visions she develops, both captivates and inspires. Thrace S’ver is a Havoc. The Havoc long ago were a part of the Kindred race, but renounced their partnership and declared never to bond with any female. The Havoc much like the Kindred are huge males, who protect those they care about. When Thrace was young he was sold as a slave. It was a dark and horrific experience for him. However, after finding himself on the auction block again he vows to kill whoever buys him. Then he meets his new mistress, Trin and unwillingly, everything changes for Thrace. Lonnara Trin is from Zetta Prime an all female world. She is the captain of her own ship and has found herself in need of a male for business purposes, of course. Trin must acquire a male from the Flesh Bazaar to serve as her slave so that she may sell her goods to a dominating sister world, Yonnie Six. Instantly when she sees Thrace up for auction she is drawn to him. Although she doesn’t understand this desire he creates in her, they set out on an adventure that only the Goddess herself could've predicted. When push comes to shove, Evangeline Anderson delivers time after time. Her masterful art of penmanship has me enthralled as a reader. I can’t seem to get enough of her Brides of the Kindred series. This book as well as the rest of her series is a must have in any library. With every word and every page I become more deeply entrenched in her novels. Hoping that the stories will never end. I can’t wait to see what happens in the next novel.

** spoiler alert ** If I were to try and write about everything I felt and loved about this book while reading it, it would be a book itself so I am going to try and narrow it down. From the beginning of this book, I felt a great deal of anger, fear , and "phew is it hot in here or just me?" moments. The characters are so well written that you feel you know them right away. You immediately get a sense of who they are, what they believe, what they are going through and who they have lost . It was difficult at times to keep reading when so many wrong things were done..not only physically but psychologically as well. The good things far out shined the bad, at least in my eyes anyway.I had a hard time because I kept wanting to kill a few people in this book...lol Or just smack a few real hard and say.."Are you kidding me?" What made it all worth while were the characters of Trin and Thrace and all they went through. Even with all this I will read it again and probably very soon because it was THAT good! I highly recommend it to everyone

I truly enjoyed the latest book in the Kindred series. Thrace and Trin make one of the best couples yet. Both are strong characters, but the hero was so sweet and caring it added a lot more depth to the relationship. While there was a good connection with the heroine in this story, there seemed to be an even stronger one with the hero - which threw in a slight twist to this book.      With most authors who have a series like this, the stories tend to become repetitive and tedious. This is not the case in this series. I was glad to see that Ms. Anderson has not lost her touch and ability to add to each consecutive book. While it was still ripe with conflict, Enslaved seemed to have a much sweeter overall concept to it. Very poignant moments throughout the story. I must say I was greatly pleased with it.  Each story seems to get better than the last. I know I can say it's a great book when I can honestly say "I laughed, I cried, I fell in love".

Every time a new Brides of The Kindred book is released I wonder what wonderful new worlds Evangeline Anderson will take us to and which awesome, strange or scary ones we will be revisiting. What is totally miraculous is infinite amount of creativity and imagination the author possesses and pours into each book, so that each story is totally unique and mind blowing. So welcome back to the world of the Kindred, book 14 focuses on Thrace, a Havoc, which is a cousin of the Kindred, and Trin, half earthling/half Zetta Prime (extreme feminist offshoot of the Yonnie 6 planet). Thrace is a Havoc, they do not believe in bonding to a female as it will shorten their long lifespan. At 16 he had been captured and bought by an evil sadistic male who killed. Then he repeatedly raped Thrace while trying to force his devotion. He finally escapes years later.Thrace has been living as a free man now for many years a successful, proud Captain of his own space vessel. Still the nightmares he has lived through have never dimmed.Despite his history Thrace has grown into a good man, strong, loyal and trustworthy, all alpha but still empathetic and sensitive to others needs. A gorgeous male, seven feet of honed muscle with blue/black hair and hypnotizing ice blue eyes. Trin is a strong female who is captain of her own space ship, she is an interplanetary trader who appears intelligent and fearless, willing to put herself at risk for the sake of her crew. She is from a planet that views men as little more than animals, too low to even keep as slaves like they do on the female run Yonnie six. Above all she prides herself on being one of the unpenetrated, not even desiring to bond to another female as most do on her planet. She has been raised in an all female cult, that brainwashes their children against any sexual encounters with men as a crime against their Goddess of Judgement.Needing a male slave to help her image while trading with the Yonnites, Trin sees Thrace in danger at the auction and ends up rescuing him.Despite the severe circumstances Thrace is unable to deny his attraction to Trin. She is not so easy to be convinced although she knows there is something there. How do two people who are never supposed to come together find a way to overcome the biggest challenges of their lives as well as overcome prejudices ingrained in them from childhood? The plot takes on many twists and turns with wild adventures in many different fantastical places, lots of suspense, tension and excitement. There is the return of the evil Two (Enhanced), new characters such as the voyeuristic Lady TamTam on Yonnie Six and many more unexpected surprises. Celebrations involving dream bubbles (I want them at my next party), and lots of major hot sexy romance. The book deserves a 10 on my "O" scale of hotness. The sex scenes are plentiful, mesmerizing and really woven well into the story. In my opinion nobody writes romantic erotica like Evangeline Anderson. From the sexy hot language to blushing behind my ipad love scenes the author truly knows her female readers.Above all the story is about love, loyalty and the "humanlike" spirit. Thrace's love and devotion for Trin despite so many odds against them melted my heart. This is an awesome story that also paves the way for several other plots and storylines to come. Also love how the characters from the other books play important and sizable roles, again making this more like a sage than just a series. If you haven't read any of this series start with book one, Claimed. Read in order enjoy the awesome journey. Before you know it you'll be like me impatiently awaiting book 15.
