30 page introduction to Zari, and her master vampire Alexandru. The story opens with Zari, an 18 year old soul seer virgin, awakening naked, chained by trolls in an old mine shaft, about to be auctioned off to the highest bidder. Alexandru, an ancient GQ handsome vampire is there to rescue her. Of course his kisses entrance her, every touch makes her blush, and she doesn't want to leave him, but the prequel ends with him leaving her agreeing to become his human pet. He leaves her at the training school for pets after stripping her naked, fondling her, oral sex, and her first orgasm. Plot may have potential, but this prequel story is light on descriptive details, character motivations, offers minimal background and setting details, and no character development. Too much sex to be appropriate for preteens, and not enough complexity to keep the attention of adults.
