Meet the Author

A survivor of sexual abuse, I have recently published the true account of my childhood, titled: Life After Hell: Surviving Sexual Abuse. I have tried to convey what happened to me as well as my journey to finally getting justice. A lot of my own experiences have gone into my fictional works, especially my first book The Man of My Dreams. I created a vigilante vampire that rescues women and children from rapists and child molesters...... I've loved Vampires and the paranormal ever since I can remember and always envisaged myself writing a book or two on the subject! I have written 5 books in The Dream Series so far: The Man of my Dreams, Be Careful What You Wish For and The Chosen One, Succubus: An Erotic Companion and A Match Made in Hell. All Paranormal Romance novels with Vampires(of course) as well as a bit of blood and gore thrown in and the 4th one is slightly on the erotic side! These characters are very close to my heart and I hope you will come to love them as much as I have. I recently finished a Contemporary Romance novella triology (Someone To Love Me series) and a New Adult novel, Entwined. I also published a short story (Why Won't Someone Help Me?) about my health issues and the trouble with getting diagnosed or treated for invisible illnesses.

3 young friends friends graduate and head to the city to start there lives as adults. Great story of coming of age and finding yourself, and learning things are not always as they seam. Some people are just always going to be bad. I loved the family twist.

Wow. Talk about intense!! This was really good. It had me on the edge and I didn't want to put it down. It had some sexy scenes and some really intense suspenseful scenes as well. All in all great book and I highly recommend.

I found the cover art to be the first draw to this story and quite intriguing. The story itself reads almost like it was taken from the thoughts of a nearly eighteen year old girl. Her best friend and the boy she dreams of live next door. Adelaide is one of those girls who made the other girls in school jealous with her natural beauty while being totally unaware of it. There are times when authors write in the voice of a younger person that it's a complete fail. Whether because of not really understanding  how someone of a given age would think/speak or they struggle to write for the opposite gender. I found no such problems in this story. There is an innocence to the story that fits the ages of the main characters very well. Quintal does what I appreciate most in an author, and that is to throw me a curve ball. Young love, intrigue, danger. It's all there. And trust me, the curve ball will have your head spinning. This is a short story that went far too quickly for me. I've read it several times and have enjoyed it just as much the last time as I did the first time. The story is well written though I felt the lack of contractions in the dialog made the conversations a bit stilted. It made the conversations feel more formal than I've heard come from any teenager. Overall a good read. I was gifted this book in exchange for an honest review.
