Overview

A mutant is terrorizing the city. People are dying. Joseph Bloodworth is determined to help. With the former H.O.P.E. resources at hand, and with his return to heroism alongside Persephone and Valerie, Joe believes that they have an obligation to do their part.

However, Valerie vehemently disagrees. Her algorithm predicts that even with all of the resources at their disposal, there is only one possible result of trying to stop the monster: Joeseph's death.

And Joe is just too important to the future to let him sacrifice himself in vain.
