Jace works for a great new company and is finally starting to settle into the kind of life she craves. One day, which she was out running, she finds a tablet. When she notices that it belongs to her company, she is set to turn it in...until she discovers a message from herself and an old college friend--a message from the future, which makes her think twice. After that, it's a race against time to figure out what's going on. I like Jace. She isn't close to her father and her mother died. She has dreams, or flashbacks to the past, which fill the reader in on her life and character. She is hard to understand at first, because of her fears and anxieties, but as the gaps are filled in more, I felt like I could relate to her in a way, because I would probably be too trusting if I were in her shoes, even though her trusting nature frustrated me at times. I've never read anything like this one and once I got into the story, I had no idea who was good, who was bad, who to trust, or what was going to happen. I would think I would know what was going on and then discover that I was completely wrong. I cannot wait for the next book! Content: Clean romance; mild violence; no language or religious elements *I received a copy in exchange for an honest review*

I'm trying to put my thoughts together after finishing Eruption. I have so many questions. Did he know when he ran into her and, if he did, what parts were staged? What happened in that short period that she can't remember? Where are all the missing pieces? Let me just say one thing that I don't have any questions about... This story ended in a spectacularly intense, crazy mess with a twist when I thought the twists were done. It was a fabulous ending and I am literally dying to get my hands on the next book. When will that be released??? The beginning of this book, maybe the first third, was a little rough for me. I liked everything except that I was frustrated with the main character and her doubts, anxiety, and paranoia. It just took me a while to figure out where she was coming from and who she was. Once more of the pieces fit together and I got a better picture of her past and her future it made a lot more sense. I still think I would have been ripping through that tablet and not telling a certain co-worker so much, but in the end it all fit into the plot. Once I got past that third of the book, I began being just as paranoid. Lol! I really didn't know who to trust. I'm still not sure I do. The journey getting there though... Intense. And then... Yep. You'll just have to read it. I won't spoil it. It was very well done. Including all the players. I ended up be invested in them all and now I'm still wondering which ones really deserve my affection. I just know that I ended up falling in love with Jace. I'm still routing for her and wanting her to succeed. To figure things out. To end up with the right guy. To be safe. For the world to be safe. I liked that the plot felt realistic to me with the emanate information loss, the technology that can be implanted, and the power source, all with a company ready to take over the world. I also liked that there was romance, but it didn't overshadow the story and also wasn't instantaneous. If you enjoy reading suspenseful romantic sci-fi thrillers, with some interesting characters and twists, then I'd definitely pick Eruption up. It was definitely worth reading and I'm dying for the next book! Content: Clean Source: I would like to thank the publisher, Cedar Fort, for my complimentary review copy, which did not affect my review in any way.

4 STARS This is a good suspense action mystery that keeps you trying to figure out what is going on till the end. Full of drama, mystery and characters I like but don't for sure who to trust. Jace Vega has got a new job working for Omnibus. Her father wants her to work for them. Jace loves to run. One day while running she finds a tablet she picks it up and tries to find the owner. The tablet is message from the future. It seams to warn about the future. Jace sees her with Corey in the future so when she runs across him at a park she tells him about the tablet and he helps her to figure out what it is from. Jace sees a picture of herself with Damien the owner of Omnibus son and a boss. Corey lived in the same apartment complex with Jace while they both were at college together. Damien and his family lived in the same town as Corey when they were around 5. There moms were friends. There dads served together in military. Jace really does not remember much of that year. Jace and Corey want to stop the future they see in the tablet from coming true, but they first need to figure out what the tablet is showing them. I admit at times I was lost in the story. I could feel her confusion about what was going on. I was given Eruption by Cedar Fort Publishing so that I could give a honest review of Eruption and be part of it's blog tour.

Adrienne Quintana kept me on the edge of my seat. As each chapter passed, my curiosity grew! She kept me guessing about who could be trusted and who was in on the evil plan. The story was well written and weaved a beautiful web full of mystery and intrigue. And while the end brought much of the mystery together, it left me wanting more! I can't wait to read the next book and highly recommend this book to anyone who loves unpredictable mystery and action.

WOW! There are some really great books coming out this year and this is DEFINITELY ONE OF THEM! Starting from the very first page you will be pulled into the story and your mind will actively try to figure out how any of it, if not all of it, could possibly be possible. While out for a morning run, Jace comes across a tablet. Who is the owner and how can she get it back to them? As she looks it over she realizes that it has her company's symbol on it. Taking it to work to turn it in and showing it to a friend starts a path of travel that Jace is not prepared for. The images on the tablet are of her, but scenes of places she has never been to before... And she is with people she has never met before. And then the dreams start... Is this tablet a message from her future self? Race with Jace as she frantically tries to put the pieces together before the images become a reality. In the future they MIGHT control the world But right now, with the tablet, SHE controls the future. Riveting! Thrilling! Fantastic! A MUST-READ!
