Ralph Cotton story telling style holds your attention. "Escape from Fire River" is the sequel to "Crossing Fire River." Lawrecne Shaw or "Fast Larry Shaw" is a character the reader might identify with. He is indeed fast on the draw. Yet, he feels this talent is a curse and makes every effort to down play his earned reputation. Ralph XCotton tells this story with predictable turns and just when you think you have the story line pegged, mr Cotton throws in a few twist and turns. Excellent reading for long flights or a quiet evening at home.
