About the Author

Jennifer Malin inherited double copies of the bookworm gene from a mom who reads voraciously and a dad who once spent his downtime writing in the crane he operated.

Her first two novels, As You Wish, a time travel, and Eternally Yours, a ghost romance, were originally published by Jove (Penguin Group USA). After that, Jen’s love for Jane Austen led to several works set in Regency England—one from Leisure Books and three from Zebra. In recent years, a fascination with archaeology inspired The Five-Day Dig, a contemporary mystery/romance set near Pompeii; Seventh Sanctuary, a steamy novella of ancient Sumeria; and Templum, a time travel featuring a modern heroine and an ancient-Roman hero.

Her new novella Wish I Might is the prequel to As You Wish. Next up is the third installment in the series.

Jen and her husband, Martin, an Aussie ex-pat, live outside of Philadelphia but travel to see ancient ruins and Formula 1 races as often as they can. She’s an art enthusiast, a fan of film, and the proud aunt of three amazing nephews.

The story was well written and interesting. I recommend this book for lite romance readers with a little bit of a twist. There is romance but the main storyline keeps the reader engaged. It greatly surprised me for such an affordable price. Made me want to read again and find other books by this author.

Lara Peale plans to remodel her recently purchased Victorian home. Mark Vereker of the Falls Borough Historical Society hopes to talk her out of changing the home where his ancestor, renowned poet and lover Geoffrey Vereker, once lived.

Meanwhile, Geoffrey haunts Lara¿s home as punishment for abandoning his child and her mother. His only hope to end his infamy is to play matchmaker to a reluctant but loving duo. He sees his descendent Mark and his home¿s current resident Lara as the perfect pair to insure he finally leaves this plane for the next. However, in spite of his otherworldly machinations, Geoffrey begins to feel the lack of hope of the abandoned as neither Lara or Mark want to follow up on their obvious attraction to one another.

Though the stubbornness of the lead couple can be irritating to readers as well as the resident ghost, paranormal romance fans will enjoy ETERNALLY YOURS due to Geoffrey¿s actions. The amusing story line moves forward briskly due to Geoffrey¿s matchmaking efforts. As individuals Lara and Mark are competent charming characters, but as a duo their obstinate refusal to accept love makes them less likable then perhaps if this were a pure contemporary. Geoffrey retains his roguish Victorian ways so that he brings depth, seriousness, and amusement to the plot and turns Jennifer Malin¿s novel into a strong entry in the Love Letters series.
