About the Author
Kathy Rogo found her inspiration for Ethel's New Home from her two sons Kevin and TJ and a pet hamster named Ethel. This story is loosely based on Ethel's talent for escaping the hamster tank and then being found in the last places you would ever imagine. Kathy grew up in Woodland Hills, California and moved to Aspen, Colorado at age 23 and finally learned to ski three years after that. Kathy has a day job and writes in her spare time....

Perfect for kids, easy and enjoyable to read, not to mention beautiful illustrations. Great for teaching children sharing and getting along with siblings. A creative, fun, and original story that kids will learn from and love!
A very delightful and entertaining story! I found Ethel's adventures outside of her hamster tank very meaningful and touching. Learning a lesson about how important family truly is in a sweet and fun way. Beautiful illustrations that really brings Ethel's story to life. My grandchildren are grown but I am looking forward to being able to read this lovely, adorable story to my great-grandchildren some day.
