Noah is prepared to die in Black Soul, that is, until Caroline comes into his life. The daughter of his regular home healthcare worker, Caroline is a force to be reckoned with as she won’t allow him to wallow in his self-indulgent, destructive behavior. Making a human connection is the one thing Noah has been avoiding so he could stick with his plan to die, yet Caroline’s positive aura is impossible for him to ignore or forget. This story delves into the dark side of humanity, where souleaters are responsible for maintaining balance in the human population, taking matters into their own hands when the justice system can’t keep up. This fast-paced adventure will keep you turning the pages to find out what will happen next.

Reading this novel was a puzzle to me. Oftetimes, I had a difficult time understanding who was speaking because the transitions weren't consise. Stating random acts without a reason is wasted energy. For example, the main character got out of the car then several paragraphs later, the car is mentioned driving toward the front entrance or portico....why? The car scene was done, it severed no purpose to mention such a minimal thing without there being a cause- this actually happens many times. It was hard to read and visualize what the characters are often doing, where their standing, or what objects are trying to be decribed. Read a sample, if you are able, before purchasing.

I absolutely LOVED reading this book. I flew through it so fast and usually it takes me a few days. This book really held my interest and I enjoyed every moment. I love the characters and the storyline! I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good romance, adventure and fantasy all-in-one!

Very good with only a couple of proofreading errors. I am not sure what I read to encourage me to buy this book as once I started reading I realized it is not the the type I like. Even so, it was a good read for those who like this type of story.

Frustrating male lead, but too sweet and handsome to resist. This story is amazing, I devoured this.
