From New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Corinne Michaels comes a new story in her Salvation series...

I was poised to become partner at my law firm even before I became secretly engaged to my boss. After being humiliated by him on my wedding day, I can't face working for him any longer. So I quit, waving my middle finger on my way out.

Now the only things I'm poised for are unemployment and loneliness.

When an opportunity with Cole Security arises, it seems like the perfect way to run, all the way to Virginia Beach. I wasn't expecting my childhood sweetheart to be there. I definitely wasn't prepared that when we saw each other again, Benjamin Pryce would be so grown-up. So gorgeous. So Navy SEAL-ish.

And still the same guy who broke my heart when I was fifteen--and could do it again.

They say if you're fooled once, shame on them. The second time, it's on you. The third time, it's going to be me that runs... unless he can convince me to stay forevermore.

**Every 1001 Dark Nights novella is a standalone story. For new readers, it's an introduction to an author's world. And for fans, it's a bonus book in the author's series. We hope you'll enjoy each one as much as we do.**

The Seal Boys are BACK!!! I sat down with this book and could not put it down. Read it from cover to cover in one sitting. I LOVED IT. All the boys were in this book so you can catch up with them...… However Ben and Gretchen OH MY! I loved them. There story is just so wonderful. It took me back to when I read the first 5 in the Salvation series and made me miss those boys! I think I might have to revisit them. EVERMORE was fantastic, and yes as always Corinne did not disappoint one bit. If you are in love with the Salvation Series. Get EVERMORE it's a blast from the past with a glimpse into the future

5 Stars Man! I didn’t realize just how much I’ve missed the gang from the Salvation series until now. I loved this quick novella and can’t wait for more. Gretchen is the best friend of Catherine and Ashton and when her world gets rocked to its core when she’s left at the altar, she finds herself starting fresh in Virginia Beach as the newest employee of Cole Security. What she didn’t expect to find was her long lost crush from junior high. Benjamin Pryce has changed in all the right ways. He’s no longer the skinny kid who moved away because he was bullied. No, now he’s the tall, dark and hot AF Navy SEAL who is now her co-worker. Even after all the time that has passed between them, the sparks still fly proving their chemistry is stronger than ever. I loved every page of this one. Both are broken in their own ways, but together they are whole and are perfect for each other. I loved the glimpse into what’s next with Ashton and I cannot wait!! Evermore is a great addition to the Salvation series. Angela - Alphas Do It Better Book Blog

The Salvation boys are back! There is something about this series that I can’t get enough of, so when I found out we were getting another book and some of my favorites were back I knew I was going to love it. There was something so sweet about Gretchen and Ben’s story that was so sweet. They are both broken in different ways and having found their way back together after so many years was exactly what they needed. They not only found each other again, but they healed each other. I loved getting to know them and seeing glimpses of the gang again.

Ben and Gretchen’s story was perfect! I am so happy that Corinne has taken us back to the Salvation series boys! I feel like Gretchen could be one of my besties and Ben is just alpha swoon, sexy and sensitive, but also tough as nails. This is a kind of second chance romance in a way, since they were childhood friends that Gretchen thought would turn into something more until Ben moves away. Now years later they see each other again when Gretchen goes to work for Cole Security where Ben happens to also work. It is obvious that there is instant chemistry between the two, but Gretchen has just suffered a humiliating left at the altar scenario, so the last thing she should be thinking about is jumping the all grown up, sexy as hell former Navy Seal. Gretchen and Ben's story was a pretty emotional one, with lots of events happening in the background while these two are getting to know each other again. We get to visit with all of the beloved guys from the series and their better halves. It was awesome to see Ashton again too, she is a hoot and a half! I can't wait to get her story in the future! For die hard fans of Corinne's Salvation series, you are going to eat this novella up!

Gretchen & Ben are the sweetest! They were childhood sweethearts then were separated and never kept in touch. Even though they never kept in touch, they often remembered each other fondly. Now, after being stood up at the altar, Gretchen quits her job and moves in an attempt to start over. Little did she know, Ben would be there looking better than ever. The chemistry is immediate, old feelings rekindled. The connection is undeniable, if only they can get past their old pain and trust issues. I've missed this gang so much! It's prompted a re-read! YAY!!!!

I was so excited to read this! Ben and Gretchen were such a great addiction to this amazing family we've all come to love! I really loved Ben and getting to see and hear everything he went through I think just made me love him even more. Having a husband in the military makes me feel these things on a totally different level. Gretchen had her own challenges but didn't let them stop her from moving on with her life. I love how Corinne is always able to write characters you can relate to on some level. I always love seeing what comes next for her she never lets us down.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED Ben and Gretchen!!! This second-chance romance, set in Corinne Michaels' Salvation Series, feels like a visit home with your old friends (if your old friends are HOTAF ex-Navy Seals that is!!!) The gang is all there and we meet Ben, who is a welcome addition to the family...and that's EXACTLY what it feels like; family! Gretchen is reeling after being left at the altar and has come to Virginia to find comfort in the arms of her bestie, Catherine and the rest of the Cole Security team. What she NEVER suspected was to run into her old flame, Ben, who has certainly changed from the geeky, nerdy first love who broke her heart! He's become one of those SEXY, BUILT, ALPHA-TO-THE-MAX men that I LOVE!!!! This sweet and sexy love story had me swooning like a 17th century maiden....I LOVED EVERY SINGLE THING about this one!!! The only thing I didn't like about it? It ended WAAAAAYYYYYY too soon...I wanted so much MORE! I can't recommend this one strongly enough! If you haven't read the Salvation Series yet, you can dive in AFTER reading Evermore, and trust me, you'll WANT to!!! Another MUST READ from one of my FAVE authors that NEVER disappoints!!!

I am a huge fan of Ms. Michaels Salvation series. I can never get enough of these alpha military men. Ms. Michaels writes a kick butt story with characters you fall in love with every time. Ben and Gretchen's second chance love story is a novella that tugs at the heart strings. These two get a second chance to discover the love that never got a chance to bloom when they were younger. Gretchen and Ben are both a little broken, but together they heal one another. This was a short, but great read. Loved it!

An enjoyable, short novella in the Salvation Series. This is one of my all time favorite series so it was great to revisit previous characters. It deserved to be a full length book to delve deeper into the back history. Wonderful job by both narrators.

This is my first intro to the guys from the Salvation Series, and wow, I totally loved it!! Gretchen is a little nuts, which totally endears her to me, and completely sweet & lovable. Ben is a big wounded bear, who is protective and loving and just swoon worthy. I loved it! I loved them! I can’t wait to jump in and start this series from the beginning

Oh to connect to this series again! *swoon* 4,5 stars I'm a goner for this author since I read her for the first time with Beloved (Catherine and Jackson). And after some time missing them all (Cat and Jackson, Natalie and Liam, Mark and Charlie, and even Ashton and Quinn, who we'll see become something solid, hopefully), here we are again, revisiting the characters, feeling all their chemistry, enjoying all their banters, loving them again. This time, we get Benjamin and Gretchen. Ben is a SEAL (of course) who's been through a lot in his life already, since he was really young, but he always had a safe harbour in Gretch. She, on the other hand, had her first love (and heartbreak) with him, and as life went on, she was burned again. Now, after so many years apart, they meet again and start working together. But all this new time getting closer makes them realize that, sometimes, no matter how much time has passed, how sore and hurt you are, how life hardly ever sticks to your plans, some things are supposed to be, some people are supposed to be together, some feelings are supposed to last...evermore.

Well, there are a few series that have stuck with me and the Salvation Series by Corinne Micheals is one of them! (I began reading this series in June of 2014 btw)  The characters of that series - Catherine & Jackson, Natalie & Liam and Mark and Charlie are forevermore a part of my favorite book friends and Corinne has blessed us with 2 more peeps to join that group!  Ben and Gretchen.  The introduction of these two to this friend group was seamless.  Both characters are fierce in their love for their friends, their loyalty is unbreakable, just like the others. Oh that Ben - I love this man, a Navy SEAL like the others who's not had a good time of it lately nor is our sweet and naive Gretchen.  Gretchen was left at the altar and Ben has had a life-altering experience and they both need to heal.  One really fun part of the story - Ben and Gretchen knew each other as kids - they were great friends and when Ben left - Gretchen was devasted.  Things have surely changed and Ben and Gretchen together were perfection!  Their chemistry was undeniable and full of sparks! Thank you, Corinne, for this novella and yes - once again - your writing was impeccable and sucked me in from page one to the last word! #HulkAndJilted

LOVED LOVED FLOVED FLOVED this book. It was so wonderful to get to visit with or wonderful salvation characters. I've missed them. Gretchen and Ben just did it for me in a magical way. I loved Ben and Gretchen! The best combination of sweet, emotional, and a little steamy. Plus we got to visit with our favorites from the Salvation series. This book can be read as a stand-alone.

Corinne always writes characters you simply cannot get enough of. And the characters of the Salvation series are no different. Their banter, their chemistry, their inability to stay out of each others' lives, and their willingness to help a friend in need. This time, Gretchen needs help. Gretchen has just been left at the altar and her whole life has been turned upside down. Her friends rally and get her a job with Cole Security, where familiar faces await. Ben, her best friend growing up and her first love, is working with her at her new job and has had his fair share of obstacles to overcome. In a story that only Corinne can deliver, (which usually includes tears and laughter galore) Evermore is a perfect second-chance romance with the one that got away. Can you imagine if your childhood crush grew up to not only be super-hot, former-military, AND had feelings for YOU, too?? Gretchen is just out there, living our dream life.

I’ve loved the Salvation series from the beginning and was no happy for a new book. As always Corinne writes a captivating story with great character development and an intriguing story line especially in the short amount of pages. I loved how Gretchen was not docile and was confident and sassy. Ben was a sexy ex-seal with demons and a constant reminder of why he was ex-military. Gretchen and Ben were the perfect match. Geeks at heart, and secret crushes they never acted on. I love that their relationship was a smooth transition like no time had passed from when they were kids and they had so much chemistry. There was little angst with lots of hotness and a little action and drama. It was a perfect continuation of this series and I can’t wait for Corinne to give us more.

This book was AMAZING! I love Ben and Gretchen. It was so good to see all of the guys from The Salvation Series. I’ve loved Gretchen since we first met her in Beloved. She has such strength and love how Ben helps her harness it.

Evermore by Author Corinne Michaels is a novella in the amazing Salvation Series. It is an interconnected series about Navy Seals and the women they love...strong women. This is Ben and Gretchen’s book. It is a wonderful story. So good, that dare I say I want to beg for more books in the series. If the author is reading this...pretty please! Now, back to the book. Gretchen and Ben were best friends as children. When they reconnect as adults the sparks fly. The problem is that they have both been hurt by exes and life in general. They aren’t quick to trust what they feel or relationships in general. The push and pull and amazing chemistry between them is undeniable, even to them. The love that they shared and built on is a thing of beauty. They raise each other up and fill in the cracks left by others. I highly recommend this book and the series. Did I mention that if the author is reading this...more Salvation Series please? Whistles off to In The Navy by the Village people while mentally visualizing Fleet Week.

Oh my goodness!!! It felt so good being back in the Salvation world again, I forgot how much I loved these characters. Evermore was such a delightful and heartwarming novella. Ben, the sexy as hell ex Navy Seal and Gretchen, the jilted bride are a match made in heaven. I loved their connection and they had excellent chemistry. This book had the perfect amount of humor, hotness and romance, it’s a definite must read!!

Rating 4.5 I have missed the Salvation Crew so much so when I heard that Corinne Michaels was going to go back and revisit them I was beyond excited. Its even better when the story is as good as Evermore. Gretchen has a list - and the list includes getting married on the top and as she is getting ready to walk down the aisle her fiance calls her and breaks things off. Now her list is blown - not getting married and not making partner since she just quit her job. When her best friend Cat and her husband Jackson make her a job offer to move to Virginia City and work at Cole Security. When she finds out she is going to work with her childhood crush Ben things are looking up, but she still needs to fulfill her list and she is not sure Ben is the right one. Ben and ex-Navy Seal who had to come home after being hurt by an IED in combat. When he finds out that he is partnered with Gretchen the girl he left behind he finds himself beginning to open up again. But after being broken beyond repair Ben doesn't know if he can be the man Gretchen deserves. I absolutely fell in love with Gretchen and Ben. The story told in dual POVs Ms Michaels takes into the minds and more importantly the hearts of these characters. We also get to revisit with all of our favorites from the previous books which I loved. All in all Evermore just made me want more and more.

Corinne Michaels never fails to deliver those emotional punches!! I have been wanting to dive back into the lives of these characters for so so long. How I've missed the feelings this series evokes from the brotherhood, the friendships and the feel it deep in your bones love. My heart ached for Ben and all he has been through after dedicating his life to what he was meant to do. Michaels writes such amazingly strong women who I respect and try to emulate in real life. Gretchen is another glowing example of this. She's the friend you want in our corner. I only wish Evermore wasn't a novella but a full length novel, I wasn't ready to let Ben and Gretchen go so quickly!!
