Every Breath You Take (Man from Yesterday Book 6) by Barbara Lohr. This is Tanner and Lindsay's story. This story grabbed my attention from the beginning to the end. Tanner and Lindsay's story is a sweet and heartwarming story with some humor. When Lindsay and Tanner first meet it was priceless. I loved the characters and their interactions. The supporting characters were a great addition to the story too especially Tanner's neighbor Red. I reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Every Breath You Take by Barbara Lohr Man from Yesterday #4 Widow and military veteran meet when she is cleaning his home. They do not get off to the best start though there is instant attraction on both parts. As they spend time together they become friends and help one another as they get to know one another better. Tanner and Lindsay have a few issues from their pasts to deal with and do so before the end of the book. This is a sweet slow-building romance that has great moments with family, friends and neighbors as Tanner and Lindsay find a way to the HEA they so richly deserve. Thank you to the author for the ARC – This is my honest review. 4 Stars

I won’t retell the story…I wouldn’t have the words. What you will find, however, is a story about two people who seem to feel they are “less” or “broken” when all they really are is alone…for now. Lindsay and Tanner get off to a bit of an embarrassing start (really pretty funny meeting) and struggle to spend as much time together as they can. Lindsay helps Tanner declutter the house he inherited and Tanner learns to let people in, including a special young boy who lives next door to him. The story is funny, quirky, often touching, and it is wonderful to watch a relationship develop between these two. Both have BIG secrets but when they start to communicate and work them out…it is a deep and loving story. Tanner’s reveal from his teenage past take a bit long to come to light but it fit the story; I’m just nosy and want to know these things faster. Great read about two people who learn how much they really need each other, and how much they have to offer to each other, to themselves, and to the world around them.

Loved it! First impressions are not always correct as this couple eventually discover. It is a charming journey to get to the realization that things are not always what they seem. Sweet romance.

Thought and love have found their playground within Every Breathe You Take. It's a journey about life, an understanding of love and the quest of unstoppable faith. Lohr paints a complicated watercolor and turns it into common sense. Two wandering hearts in need of healing find solace in the broken moments and salvation in a less than perfect love. Red is the light-bulb that sparks the connection between Tanner and Lindsay. A mother's love for her save became the beginning of a second chance. Ms. Lohr puts her heart into her stories. Relatable, lovable and inspirational.
