I expected humor from the title. I got it and much more. An easy read that let me know the author has experienced the same things I have. That is such a nice feeling.

Great job! This honest account of this struggle is honest, witty and full of hope! If you have walked this path before you know that you feel so alone...but you are not alone and there is hope! I found it reminded me how to relate and empathize with friends and family that are facing fertility issues and the physical, emotional and spiritual challenges. The author is obviously very passionate and transparent in her account. I laughed, cried, nodded in agreement....Thanks Kristine!

I was going through some difficult times and found this wonderful book!!! One issue that plagued me during my trials and tribulations was jealousy. To read about the author's experience and words of wisdom made me realize I wasn't alone. It was one of the most comforting things in the world and helped me concur that ugly feeling of envy. If you or anyone you know is having infertility issues, I highly, highly recommend this book.

I thought the humor of the title would carry throughout the book. However the title was the funniest part. There are a few gems of advice but if you have read a lot on this topic there is not a lot of new information.

companion with you on the Roller Coaster Ride that constitutes the journey into infertility. The author's candor, humor, and insight will fortify your heart and lower the hurdles you will encounter.

Such a good and different look at the emotional journey of infertility. Brings some humor to the reader, which for people going through the struggles, is a much welcomed change of pace. However, it also addresses the dark, and sometimes illogical, feelings that people have during the struggle to conceive which will help family members and friends with the sensitive challenge of how (or how not) to help their loved one through it. It is an easy read and well worth the time for anyone going through infertility, either themselves or as a bystander.

Some of the words make you feel like maybe she wrote this book for me, just hold onto the calming moment it gives you and scream “I’ll be okay”

Love this book!! It's great to read a book about about infertility from someone who has actually experienced the journey, not just someone writing a bunch of medical jargon. My husband and I battled infertility for two years before conceiving our beautiful son. I now lead a local support group for infertiltiy patients and this book reminds me of our round table discussion, friends experiencing a similar battle and sharing their stories. I think this is a must read for anyone experiencing infertility!

This book is not a prescription on how to get pregnant, nor is it a step-by-step tutorial on the author's fertility-challenged journey. She is our friend who is voicing all of the emotions most of us keep inside and are too afraid to say to our spouse/family/friends. This book has God in it which I love. It covers the same questions I've had in my heart. The same questions I've asked God. Why me? Why not me? Is it okay to go after fertility treatments and let "man" (doctors) take over/change/mess up God's perfect timing? Lord can you give me an extra shot of patience while I'm waiting for your perfect timing? (FYI: He doesn't give us patience, He gives us the opportunity to be patient.) This book is written by a fertility-challenged friend whom you've never met, probably will never meet, the type of friend you most likely do not currently have and yet she knows us better in this personal, intimate and SUCKY situation than anyone ever will. She's comforting, she's direct, she's true to herself and true to us in expressing the absolute raw emotions that go along with being fertility challenged. Although her struggle is not the same as mine, her fertility path is not one I've ventured down and her prayers have been answered x2, she is still my friend who gets me. This book will not tell you how to get pregnant. This book will hopefully help you understand and learn from the inner struggle that goes along with your physical struggle to conceive. The inner struggle from being fertility-challenged is difficult enough on its own and when you couple that with feeling like you're the only one out there who feels like you do, it's like an emotional bomb that's about to explode. This book is more like a support group whose leader will not allow any big fat idiots into "our" group who say stupid crap like, "Just relax," "Don't worry, just give it time," or "You don't have kids yet? Do you hate kids or something?!" She'll also be the first one to punch them in the face for you. She's our advocate, our helper, our comforter, our voice. Give this book a chance to help ease the blow of this awful circumstance by making you laugh, get teary-eyed and even yell, "YES, that's EXACTLY how I feel right now!" as you try to find your right path to parenthood.

This book is great for both the fertility challenged person and the non-fertility challenged person, I could definately relate to the stories and advice, It is very obvious that the author has experienced fertility problems and is not some doctor that has never experienced trying to give advice, I'm very glad i read this book

This is a wonderful book that hits home. The author evidently went through the same things I am going through now. I highly recommend this to my friends in the same situation. There is a chapter or two in there I wish my mother would read so that she would understand our fertility problems better and how to deal with me. It is so nice to know I am not the only one going through infertility.

This book reaches into the heart of author and dishes out heaps of understanding that anyone going trough fertility really needs most. Helpful tips and difficult challenges? Yes, it has those! Most of all, it's the real journey of an everyday girl who went through it. The stories will make the person struggling with her fight for a family encouraged and empowered. DO you think you're crazy wanting to be mad at friends? Is it hard deciding what treatments to take and how to act with well-meaning, know-it-all advisers? Are you nervous that you're missing something on insurance or in your ObGyn appointments that could make all the difference? This book is for you! Are you loving someone through all of those things - the best friend or mom or husband of someone struggling with this heartache? Then this book is for you! Get it or give it right away. I wish it had been out there sooner!
