Megan Howard used to be a successful painter—but that was a long time ago. These days she’s struggling to move forward, convinced her heart is permanently broken after her last relationship and grief stricken over the loss of her father. Clinging to memories of happier times, she holds tight to her father’s most cherished possession: a 1958 DeSoto Adventurer. Though she needs the money, she’ll never sell it—even loaning the prized automobile to her best friend on the day of her wedding stirs up painful memories.

Avowed bachelor and car collector Noah Black has never seen a car he can live without…or a woman he can live with. Reluctant to see his best friend condemned to matrimony, he flies to Boot Creek from California to be the best man in the wedding. But after discovering that the gorgeous maid of honor owns the car of his dreams, Noah makes a pricey bet that he’ll add the DeSoto to his collection, no matter what it takes.

Despite their determination to stay single, Noah and Megan soon find they can’t resist each other. His attention turns from getting the car to getting the girl, and thanks to Noah, Megan can imagine a life in the present. But when the truth about Noah’s wager comes to light, will it threaten to throw Megan’s new perspective into reverse?

For me, Every Yesterday was one of those very special books. It was the type of book I don't just read, but experience. There were so many wonderful moments, and I loved the theme of yesterdays. Nancy Naigle always seems to use the perfect words that help me see and feel everything, and make every touching moment memorable. My heart was breaking for Megan when she was struggling with the car, but I was overjoyed with some of the other moments as well. I don't want to give anything away. I love the song that goes with the book too. It couldn't have been more perfect. It's the second book in the series, but can definitely stand on it's own. However, Boot Creek is amazing, and I highly recommend you visit it as much as you can. If you love it half as much as I did, you won't want to leave the place or it's lovely people. I received this book in exchange for an honest review.

Megan Howard and Noah Black are two people who have learned to avoid romance at all costs. When Noah meets Megan, he’s attracted to her AND her 1958 DeSoto Adventurer, which was her father’s car before he passed away. She’s vowed never to part with it. Megan risks opening her heart to a man she barely knows, even though she feels she can talk to him about anything. Noah bets he can buy the DeSoto, but when Megan hears about it, will it threaten the trust that has developed between them? I loved this book! It is exactly what I’m looking for in a contemporary romance. You have two people who have been jaded due to past relationships thrown together by circumstances beyond their control. They are both successful career-wise but they lack trust. They both need someone that attracts them intellectually and physically. On top of that, I am a sucker for a small town where everyone knows everyone else. Ms. Naigle describes her setting so well that everyone will want to move to a small town in North Carolina. An Advanced Reading Copy was received in exchange for an honest review.

This is a great book; this book is part of the Book Creek series written by Nancy Naigle. Megan Howard lives in Book Creek, she is convinced her heart is permanently broken after her last relationship and grief stricken over the loss of her father. Clinging to memories of happier times, she holds tight to her father’s most cherished possession: a 1958 DeSoto Adventurer. Though she needs the money, she’ll never sell it, even loaning the prized automobile to her best friend on the day of her wedding stirs up painful memories. This is a great book with a wonderful story and well developed characters. This book will keep you reading long into the night. If you are looking for a great book, then you need to read this book. I am looking forward to reading the next book by this great author. A Review copy was provided to me in exchange for a fair and honest review. The free book held no determination on my personal review.

In this one Nancy Naigle takes us back to Boot Creek, NC (finally)!! I fell in love with this little fictional town in Life After Perfect and have been patiently waited for the next installment in the series. This can easily be read standalone though so don't let it stop you if you haven't read the first one yet. This a wonderful sweet story of how two very different people can bond over something as crazy as a car. Megan Howard loved her father and the one thing he left her when he died was his 1958 DeSoto Adventurer. She may need money in the worst way but selling her Daddy's car isn't on the table. Car enthusiast and confirmed bachelor Noah Black is in Boot Creek for his buddy's wedding when he spots the car. He's determined to have it and the gorgeous maid of honor that owns it!! A fun sweet read you don't want to miss. I highly recommend it.

This is only the second book by Ms Naigle that I have read, but it certainly won’t be the last one. It touched me very much, because like the main character , Megan, I grew up with a Dad that loved cars and even though I lost him when I was 15, his love of cars, grew in me as well. Most reviewers will tell you it’s a story about Megan, her attachment to her deceased father’s car, and Noah, a successful car restoration business man that wants to purchase the Desoto Adventurer. But it’s a story about much more than that. It’s how we hold on to our yesterdays, sometimes to the point of us forgetting that the todays are here for us to live. Those yesterdays, whether good or bad, are what make us the individuals we are today. Thus , we need to be present in our lives so we don’t miss the wonders that it has in store for us. I received this copy from Netgalley for an honest review. The opinions are solely mine.

A fun sweet read that will bring two people together over a 1958 Desoto Adventurer. Noah has come to Boot Creek for his best friend's wedding when he meets the dream of his life, the car. To get to his dream he needs to win over Megan, the Maid of Honor and the owner of the car. This is the last treasure that she has of her beloved dad and is not willing to part with it. Noah is a confirmed bachelor and Megan holds little trust in men, but soon they are fighting off the connection between them. This is the second book in Boot Creek, but can be read as a stand alone. I really enjoyed these well developed characters. This story will leave you smiling for a long time.

A true feel good romance. When I can loose myself in a story for a while and have that HEA ending that leaves you all warm and fuzzy feeling, that's why I pick up romance in the first place. Every Yesterday was a fun and feel-good book. I enjoyed it a lot. When Noah Black flew to Book Creek to be in his best friends wedding his first instinct was to offer to be his get-away driver, but when Noah set eyes on the maid of honor Megan's classic 1958 DeSoto Adventurer he decides that he has to have the car. A bet with the groom as to if he can close the deal will get him into some trouble, but in the end it is the car or the girl he wants.
