C. Ranjan Nath, MD is the medical director of the Diabetes and Metabolism Center at Phelps Memorial Hospital. In addition, Dr. Nath teaches at New York Medical College and is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Endocrinologists. I just finished reading the Everything Diabetes Cookbook 2nd edition. The author has done a great job of covering the basics about diabetes in a reassuring voice. If you or someone you love has diabetes then this is the cookbook for you. There are so many recipe choices that taste so yummy that your entire family will want to eat these dishes too!
This book is great - easy to read, easy to apply, user-friendly, and informational in tone. The facts and tips about diabetes are easy to process, not overwhelming. Recommended for someone recently diagnosed with diabetes and searching for some solid basic facts, recipes and recommendations.
