I am a freshman in college and this book helped me so much to find my roots and to understand the latin culture and through this complete and intriging book I have decided to minor in latin american studies. I had always wanted to read about our culture's history but never had time. She gives the whole culture a very good synopsis in one book. After reading it you will want to go out and find more books about this topic. Keep reading! Latin culture is much more exciting that those American History classes we all remember back in high school :)
