Overview

The author of this book loves to write many different types of poetry; she's fondest of free verse, sonnets, narratives, true to life episodes and limericks with funny antics. Throughout the book she writes on her love of nature's elements and all living things. The first poem is written in relation to her belief that all people have a beautiful mind; that anyone on our vast global planet can be beautiful in any given situation. The concept of writing in this style gives her the freedom to reach into the vastness of the unknown and also into the reality of our environmental situation. Rain or shine, she conjures her love of natural wonders in the mind's eye. Some may say that she can bring beauty into anyone's perceptional view. Eve bears a humorous and cheerful attitude. Her love of writing in any given form shows her appreciation of being open-minded and her enthusiasm shines from every word.

About the Author

Eve Theresa Marie Carter was raised in Central, Alberta. She attained and furthered her education in her late forty’s, into her fifty’s. Her children and spouse have been her sole purpose in life. They have been her biggest inspiration in helping her to attain whatever she sets her sights on. Her artistic endeavors are so vast: like oil painting, watercolor, writing short stories, volunteering and a love of writing poetry. She enjoys laughing, making light of any-given situation. In her view she likes to make anyone and everyone laugh; even if the joke is on her. In her younger years she entered a painting contest. She had to draw and paint a picture of Red Skeleton: with this they sent her a statue of him in lieu of her win. Her mother being a true Christian woman has been her biggest role model. This one quote comes to mind, “Be true to yourself, stay focused and anything can become a reality if you work hard enough to do it.” Her biggest accomplishment was raising her four beautiful children. Being a free-spirited woman and having a love of nature has kept
her, to be well-grounded, focused and is a down-to-earth loving mother and grandmother.
