My Review: What an amazing book. Sexy while still incredibly emotional. Megan works at the same law firm as man whore Adam and she's decided that he's just the cure she needs to get over her sexual anxiety that she's been battling since she was raped in high school. What she doesn't realize is that his man whore persona is just a ruse to keep women at bay after the sudden death of his wife two years ago. Now you understand why this book is emotional right?? But it's also extremely sexy because Adam is a Dom and he sees that Megan is a natural submissive, but with her issues that is most definitely a mine-field just waiting to blow up in his face. It's especially touchy because Adam is NOT a one-night stand kind of guy. He honestly likes Megan and he wants more, but she just wants him to help her work through things. She has no idea who he really is when it comes to relationships. The emotion of it all is written so well. As a reader, you can't help but ache for both these people. Adam wants more. Megan is just trying to heal. They are both hurting. This isn't a long book, but there is SO MUCH packed into it. These characters have a really deep back-story as to how they both got to this place. The actual time frame on the book doesn't cover that much time (about two weeks) but it never seems to be rushed. Adam has been attracted to Megan for a long time. She's just never shown any indication to him that she also felt the attraction. I definitely enjoyed this one. It has some good angst, some incredibly hot sex, and two characters that I just fell in love with. Another winner from Mia Downing!

First, there was no BDSM in this book. It was poorly written. Difficult to follow what the author was trying to convey, at times. The book didn't fit the nook format which is very distracting and annoying. The characters had no depth. And, even though it says 785 pages, I doubt there were more than 200. Very disappointed.

Exceeding Boundaries was so much more than I expected. Yes, it was a hot read, but the emotional insight was intense. The character development, amazing. I was totally invested in these characters and rooting them on the whole way. I'm going to recommend this book to everyone I know. *I won this book in a contest*

I ended up enjoying this book more than I thought that I would. To be honest, I went into it thinking it was just an erotica story, so I didn’t have extremely high expectations on my enjoyment. I ended up loving this story to no end! Yes, there is erotica aspects to it, but overall? There was so much more happening in the story than just that. Ms. Downing was able to write a story about a victim finding her strength to overcome her fear, but she did it so realistically, that it made the story that much better. Megan and Adam has some insane chemistry between them, it was literally coming off the pages! I couldn’t get enough of what was happening and wanted to know even more. Even though that was great, my favorite part was the ending, when Megan finally came to face everything. It seriously made me cry because of how amazingly strong that woman was, and how far she has came. My huge complaint about this story is the ending! I seriously didn’t want it to end and I really hope that Ms. Downing will add more to their story in the future. Reviewed by Crystal Marie for Crystal’s Many Reviewers *Copy provided for review*

I'd like to inform you that there is several other ranks in a wolf pack; Sentinels, scouts, hunters, etc. I know because l was the creator of the long-lived DuskPack/RL Pack. Good luck.

Reviewed by Victoria Book provided by the publisher for review Review originally posted at Romancing the Book I chose this book because the journey Megan will have to go on to take back her life from the ghosts that haunt her. It is a hard and commendable journey. While this story is not part of a series at this time, it is apparent that there is room for either a sequel or to become part of a series. Megan Connors has been fascinated to Adam since she met him. Megan is very strong and realistic character as she struggles with her past. Adam’s playboy persona is what she thinks could help her move on from a traumatic event that has haunted her for years. Megan runs into problems when the heart does not listen to the mind. I loved her seduction attempt of Adam. It was very convincing as awkward as it was. Adam Wentworth is a person that never mixes his personal life with his work life. Adam has wanted Megan from the first day her saw her at work. Adam, who has his own personal problems, decides go with Megan’s seduction. Adam comes across as a very patient man. The chemistry between Adam and Megan literally burn up the pages. The author did a great job with the struggles that both Adam and Megan have.  The part that I found unrealistic was in the space of a week they fall in love and have both faced the demons that have haunted them for years. I loved this book. I can appreciate anyone who tries to face a past that would crush most people, What would have improved the story was that the time frame expanded to several weeks and not just one week. Overall, this is a do not miss.

I liked this book. I thought it was a great example of wounded hurt people trying to have relationships and sex. It did say over 700 pages & it seemed like it was shorter but for a refreshing read it was all in one book and not strung out over 2-3 more books that cost me more to find out how it all ends!!!

2.5 stars at best. First there were about 50 words maybe per page and each page counted at 2-3 pages. Started out promising, then all of a sudden you get hit with a ton of information and its over. I am waiting for authors to get more inventive than the "you.are.mine"..." This.is.mine"..yeah we have heard it 100's of times since 50 Shades...I enjoyed the first 2/3 of the book then it felt like the author was late for a date and just crammed tge rest in so the book would be done.

I rarely write a bad review, however, this book started out with a strike against it. It comes open on my Nook and says 785 pages when in reality it's only about 232 pages. Every page you turn it skips 4 pages or more! And then there's the actual story. If you can call it that. The premise is good but there isnt much "story" to it. It's pretty much all erotic encounters.
