About the Author

Dr. Joseph Bounds earned his B. S. at Northern Michigan University, M. S. at California State, and DBA with Argosy University with a management concentration. He is a senior member of the American Society for Quality and holds three certifications, among them a Six Sigma Black Belt. Over his career, Dr. Bounds has worked in several industries, held various positions, and teaches at local community colleges on an as needed basis. Since the economic downturn in 2008, he has worked primarily as a private contractor in the quality field with industry. During his doctoral studies he became interested in developing a metric for defining "excessive" executive compensation, basing his dissertation on this ground breaking research.
