Audience: Although the stated intent is to serve as a reference for professionals in rehabilitation, it is also a good source for cardiologists and internists.
Features: This book features easy reading and is extremely well referenced. There are two appendixes consisting of warm-up exercises and a log book that would be useful for patient use.
Assessment: This is an excellent summary with excellent references on cardiac testing and training in the elderly. It is concise and brief enough to allow front-to-back reading in a short period of time. The references are an excellent addition for subsequent in-depth perusal.
