In her intercultural family she brought up two sons who now bridge two cultures, German and Chinese.
Coaching and counselling expatriates and helping people overcome issues related to, often frequent, relocation triggered the idea for this book.
Gudrun holds a master's degree in education, is a trained coach and also a painter who creates works of art incorporating aspects from Chinese culture.
In 2011 she re-settled in her home country Germany.
