She received a Bachelor of Arts in Music, Cum Laude from Kent State University (OH) and a Masters Degree in Library Services to Children and Young Adults from Drexel University (PA).

She is proud to have made her daily bread as a Youth Librarian. Librarians have the privilege of taking care of materials that offer art, story, and knowledge to the community. Plus, everyone can use the bathrooms.
Her art comes from an intuitive, spiritual place and she is a Grand Rapids Fat Boys burger kind of girl.
