Exploring the Tarot based on 0 ratings. 1 reviews.
I first heard of Tarot cards in a college English class. There was a reference to them in a poem, T.S. Eliot, as I recall. The allusion was to imply decadence (must have been the Wasteland). The professor explained the Tarot was something shady, and purchased under the counter in seedy parts of town. Since that time I have made a search for means to help me improve my character and have found the Tarot to be genuine and beneficial. It is especially to the credit of Exploring the Tarot by Carl Japikse that I made this happy discovery. The book is beautifully written, it's clear and concise. But it also has wit and charm. I particularly like the sections where the cards come to life and vex the author.
