Exposing Justice by Adrienne Giordano, Misty Evans

Fans of the Justice Team Series will love this action-packed third installment!

As a Public Information officer for the US Supreme Court, idealist Hope Denby knows how to spin a story. A journalist at heart, she loves being in the middle of a juicy scoop and has her sights set on future Press Secretary for the White House. When the Supreme Court Chief Justice is accidentally killed in a road rage accident, and a high-profile conspiracy blogger claims it was premeditated murder, Hope has to shut down the paranoid blogger--which should be a slam dunk until she discovers he's not as crazy as she thought and she has more in common with the secretive, hard-hitting investigator then she'd like to admit.

Cyber resistance against government corruption isn't just a theory for Brice Brennan on his blog, The First Amendment Patriot. As a former ATF agent who blew the whistle on his superiors, he's no stranger to government cover-ups and scandals. An anonymous tip on the Chief Justice's death sends him searching for answers. What he finds is a sexy, young idealist about to blow his private, behind-the-scenes world to pieces.

Brice and Hope couldn't be more opposite, but exposing justice makes them partners--and puts them on the track of a ruthless killer. As their investigation takes them into the dark underbelly of Washington politics and murder-for-hire, it also takes them into the bedroom where passion erupts and emotional walls crumble. But when the killer makes an attempt on Hope's life, will Brice be able to keep her safe? Or will blowing the whistle on corruption and greed mean losing the one person he's allowed himself to love?

I love this series.... the stories just keep getting better & better. This can be read as a stand alone but I've read the books in order & think it helps knowing some of the characters backstories. This is the 3rd book in the Justice Team Series. The action starts on page one & keeps going to the very end of the book. I enjoyed how the love story between Hope & Brice evolved as well. I was given a free copy in exchange for an honest review.

I just finished Exposing Justice by Adrienne Giordano and Misty Evans. What a great read! It has all the elements of a good romantic suspense. I found myself really falling for Brice. He was such an unexpected alpha male. His relationship with Hope really brought out all the great character development that I have come to expect (and enjoy) from Adrienne Giordano. Hope was very likeable and her office situation was more than relatable! Overall, this was a thoroughly enjoyable and fast paced ride. I began reading as a fan of Adrienne Giordano and am now most definitely a fan of the team she has become with Misty Evans. I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

Sometimes a book just works, and Exposing Justice does just that. There was romance, there was suspense, there was a fabulous story line, and I can’t say enough about the characters that these two authors have created. I absolutely loved Brice. He’s the perfect mix of alpha male and sexy cyber-nerd, with a dose of action hero thrown in. I loved his wit and sarcasm, especially when it came to dealing with Mitch. It’s easy to see why he prefers working alone and why he tries to keep a low profile, so it was also great seeing him let Hope in to his life and also his blogging world. I really liked Hope’s character as well, and I found the balance between her youth and inexperience and her recognition of knowing when she’s in over her head and needing help quite refreshing. I liked watching her character mature as the story progressed, adding a dose of reality and experience to her orderly world, and ultimately forcing her to reevaluate her life plan to follow her passion. Hope has always been the positive optimist who always puts a positive spin on everything…which I would normally find totally annoying, but again, that maturity her character goes through as the story unfolds makes me like her even more. Brice and Hope together were a perfect fit – even though on the surface it looked like they were polar opposites. There was an age difference, Brice is 35 and Hope is 24, but that difference really worked for the two of them. Brice’s jaded outlook and general distrust in the government is certainly warranted, but it was wonderful watching Hope’s optimism and need to see the positive in things have an effect on Brice. And Brice gave Hope that dose of reality she needed to see that sometimes not everyone is as trustworthy as they seem. And although the romance started slow, when these two finally come together it’s hard for them to keep their hands to themselves, which leads to some very hot and steamy times, and I loved that there was often humor thrown in. The plot was well developed and had enough twists and turns to keep things interesting. It was fast paced, but didn’t rush through the story so it was easy to understand the twists, turns, and intricacies of the plot. I loved the way the Justice League members (Mitch, Caroline, Teeg, Grey, and Sydney) were woven in to the story, and I am intrigued with Tony Gerard and can’t wait to see what becomes of his character. This book is part of a series, but can easily be read as a stand-alone, but I guarantee that you’ll want to go back and read the other books to find out more about the Justice League. The writing team of Misty Evans and Adrienne Giordano delivers a story with such an easy flow that it makes you wonder how two voices can come together so seamlessly. The dialogue between the characters and continuity of the story line was perfectly orchestrated to deliver a five star read. This book delivers everything you would want in a romantic suspense and then some. I highly recommend this read and can’t wait to see what comes next! I was given a copy of this book from the authors for an honest review.

4 star I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, murder, suspense, pain, secrets, and heartbreak. If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first Stealing Justice (Justice Team, #1) Cheating Justice (Justice Team, #2) Holiday Justice (Justice Team, #3) This is Hope and Brice’s story. Brice is a former ATF agent turned blogger. He wants to expose the truth. Hope is a Public Information Officer. She is supposed to shut down a story. She finds herself putting her trust into Brice. Can he help her investigate the truth? Can he help and keep her safe at the same time? The attraction is scorching between these two. But they need to keep the case first. If they don’t solve the case they could both end up dead. Can the hunted become the hunters and take down the enemy? Can they really work together and solve the case that everyone thinks is only a road rage accident? Will the truth come out in the end? I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read. I recommend this book and can’t wait for the next story from these authors.

Action Packed and Fast Paced!! I received an ARC copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. This is the third book in the Justice series. I loved this book, but then I love all the books in this series. This one is about Hope and Brice. Brice is an ex-ATF agent turned Blogger and Hope is employed by the Public information office of the U.S. Supreme Court. Hope has absolutely no respect for bloggers, until she meets Brice and discovers just how legitimate he is. He does not make stuff up just to cause trouble, he deals in facts that he has carefully researched. These two are thrown together after a Supreme Court Justice is shot in an apparent road rage confrontation, but Brice believes it was much more than a simple case of road rage. This story moves fast and like all the Justice Series books. I love how in these books you really can not picture the male and female protagonists together but once they start interacting you realize just how well they meld together, they always make for a hot match full of passion, Hope and Brice are no exception to this trend. Both are strong people as individuals put them together and you have an unbeatable team. You really need to check this one out for yourself, if you love a good murder mystery, with a fast pace and some romance thrown into the action.

Brice Brennan is a patriotic blogger and former ATF agent. After his career went sour and he was betrayed by those closest to him, Brice began blogging and exposing the truth about the government. Hope Denby is a Public Information Officer and a journalist at heart. When a Chief Justice is murdered, Hope has no choice but to trust blogger Hawkeye in order to get to the truth and stay safe. Together Brice and Hope have a better chance than alone but the sexual tension is thick. Can these two make it out of this situation without landing themselves in bed? Exposing Justice is book three of The Justice Team series and the Giordano/Evans writing duo once again blew me away with this romantic suspense. I loved both Brice and Hope's characters and how different they were yet similar in their passions and wanting to find out the truth. The sexual tension and chemistry is definitely there but I love that the case comes first. The romance is of course juicy, but the suspense is what I live for in these books and Evans and Giordano sure know how to keep a girl on the edge of her seat. Suspenseful, exhilarating, and intense, Exposing Justice was the perfect weekend read. I was on pins and needles wondered who did it, would Brice and Hope make it out safe and of course the big question: would Brice and Hope tear down that imaginary line and go there already. Not wanting to give anything away, I suggest you read this book to find out these answers on your own ;) I loved this book and if you love romantic suspense books as much as I do, I guarantee you this is your next five star read!

Exposing Justice by Misty Evans and Adrienne Giordano is the fourth book in their Justice Team series. This is a standalone book but we are also treated to glimpses of characters from the past Justice Team books. From the prologue I was glued to the story line. The Chief Supreme Court Justice of the United States is murdered and Hope Denby, a Public Information Officer for the U.S. Supreme Court is charged with diffusing a potential story by blogger Brice Brennan. Immediately, these two are pulled into one another’s circle and eventually find themselves being hunted by those that were behind murdering the Chief Justice. Ms. Evans and Ms. Giordano have once again written a fabulous novel. I enjoyed the interaction between Hope and Brice as they got to know one another. Take an almost reclusive in nature blogger and mix him with an over the top happy personality and you have a winner. Ms. Evans and Ms. Giordano’s writing styles are so similar that the reader can’t determine who has written a particular scene in the book. I find that fascinating that they can mix their styles so well. I highly recommend Exposing Justice and look forward to reading the next installment in their series. I’d like to disclose that I receive an advance copy of Exposing Justice in exchange for a fair and honest review.

The Justice Team series is one of my favorites. In Exposing Justice by Misty Evans and Adrienne Giordano, the action never stops. I loved every minute of it. I love how Brice and Hope develop as characters throughout the story. This story has it all: action, danger, romance, snark, conspiracies, government tie-in. A thrill-a-minute read that kept me turning the pages past my bedtime. I love that you can read each book in the series as a stand alone, and enjoy each one. If you like action-packed romantic thrillers, this series should jump to the top of your list. I received a copy for review purposes - my opinion was not influenced in any way.

This book is very fast paced and a page turner. Arienne Giordano and Misty Evans are amazing authors by theirselves, but together, oh my. I do not want to give the book away, so you have to read it.

Every book I read in this series just keeps getting better. I love how different the personalities are for Hope and Brice. They balance each other out, miss merry sunshine and the paranoid cynic. When I say I was on the edge of my seat I really was. You just want to keep on reading to see who is behind it all and how they catch the bad guys. Loved being able to revisit previous characters in the series. You can feel the comrade and banter between the Justice Team. A Supreme Court Chief Justice is accidentally killed or is it murder? Former ATF agent now blogger may just have tip leading to murder. Hope is in charge of defusing the situation with the blogger, but soon she finds herself teaming up with him. Now lives are on the line. Can they figure out who is behind it to serve justice before they're too late?

Exposing Justice was a rare 5 star read for me! I loved it! In a world of political corruption and danger, two people unexpectedly find each other. They start off with different goals, but soon they are working together...in more ways than one. I really enjoyed Hope and Brice, they are powerful characters who I'd love to know in real life. The connection these two develop is palpable and real. I felt like I was right there with them sometimes. I loved the dialogue between them, the slow build of trust, and the slow opening of their hearts. They are both open, honest, and there is a refreshing lack of angst between these two mature characters. As these characters and their relationship grow and develop, I liked the passion they share not only for each other but for the work they do. The passion between them is there and very real, and I liked how it was part of the story, but not the whole story which helped make Exposing Justice realistic. There is a high entertainment factor in Exposing Justice but there is also a very serious edge and Misty and Adrienne write a plot of political corruption believably. The who done it and why kept me guessing. It felt real and like something that could really happen. The danger and the unknown work well with the romance, helping bring the characters together. This might bring them together, but it's not what's going to keep them together...that is up to Hope and Brice. The secondary characters all work to bring the plot together without detracting from Hope and Brice, and I liked seeing characters from previous Justice Team books. Having said that, I do feel that Exposing Justice can easily be read as a stand alone. Exposing Justice was a book I didn't want to end because I loved the characters so much! I hope to see glimpses of them again in future Justice Team books. I'd highly recommend Exposing Justice to any romantic suspense reader.

I didn’t realize Exposing Justice was the third book in the series, let alone there being a series, until after I got my hands on it. The authors write this story so well you don’t feel like you are missing part of something, like some series do by building off of each other and assuming you have read the previous books in order to know the history of the story line so you won’t be lost. Exposing Justice is a great standalone book, but will leave you wanting to read the others. This story is about Hope Denby and Hawkeye (aka Brice Brennan), an investigative reporter at heart and a blogger (who actually checks facts before posting his stories), who are thrust upon each other by the death of Chief Justice Turner. Hawkeye gets a tip that the Chief Justice’s death was more than what it seemed to be and makes inquiries into the Public Information Office of the U.S. Supreme Court, where Hope gets assigned to dealing with the blogger. Hope is fearful that Hawkeye will publish anything just because he is a blogger and since the higher-ups are not available she tracks down any lead she is able to so the blogger won’t cause a riot with unsubstantiated information. Her investigation put cross-hairs on her and Hawkeye and they have to team-up to solve the mystery surrounding the Chief Justice’s death otherwise their lives just may be next. Exposing Justice is an exciting, mysterious, fast paced on the edge of your seat entertaining and just plain amazing story! I highly recommend this book!

I love a good conspiracy story that includes danger, romance and edge of your seat action. The writing team of Adrienne Giordano and Misty Evans know how to mingle the pieces together like no one else. This books is 3rd in a great series but can definitely be enjoyed as a stand alone. But be warned, I think you will want to go back and read the first 2 books in the series. This is a modern day intrigue that you could find in your morning news. When a Supreme Court Judge is killed, it's blames on road rage, until our hero, Hawkeye, and heroine, Hope, discover there may be more than expected to his death. Forced to work together (to get the information they need) they are lead on a dangerous trail of a billion dollar heart medicine, cover up, and danger. Somewhere along the way, Hope and Hawkeye learn to respect each others talents. They can trust each other with their lives, but can they trust each other with their hearts? Will they live long enough to find out? I really loved reading this book and think you will too.

Another winner by the fantastic writing team of Misty Evans and Adrienne Giordano. Both of these ladies are very talented writers independently, but together they have created the captivating Justice Team series. This novel introduces us to Hope, a public information officer for the supreme court. Her job forces her to interact with Brice (Hawk), a blogger with a chip on his shoulder. What follows is a totally engaging romantic suspense novel. Once I started reading it, I just could not put it down. If you are looking for a great read, then you have found it here.

I loved this combinations of opposites, Hope is the perfect antidote to Brice’s well-earned cynicism. As always the dynamic writing duo of Evans and Giordano not only write characters with whom I become emotionally invested, they mysteries they create mysteries that grab me by the throat and drag me into the story almost from the first page. While some awesome mysteries take time to build and this one is laid out in a complex path through the story, the prologue did its job in building a inviting pool of excitement and emotion that had me ready to dive in and follow the leads along with our hot, hot, hot couple. As a Public Information Service assistant for the Supreme Court Hope and the people she works with are stunned and lost with the limited amount of information available on the accidental death of a Supreme Court Justice. Her boss is in meetings all day and is unavailable when a call comes in that hints that the death was in fact not an accident. I received this book in exchange for an honest review. I honestly love it!

I really love the 3 prior books in the Justice Team Series. They all have romance, suspense and humor. Exposing Justice fits right in as it too has those qualities as well. The story starts with a Supreme Court Chief Justice's death. Brice Brennan, a cynical ex-ATF agent who now runs an blog to out the injustices of the world, gets a tip that the death was more than just an accident. In walks the perky, rose color glasses US Supreme Court public information officer, Hope Denby, who is out to stop Brennan from blogging about the incident. Their outlook on life certainly clashes but there is definitely a romantic spark between the two work-a-holics. Brennan and Hope are convinced there is more to the Chief Justice's death and begin their own investigation. The suspense and humor continues as they chase down leads, hide from possible hit-men and try to get the scoop on the story. The book is very well written and kept this reader glued to the pages. 2 Thumbs Up!
