This is an ok story, but why on earth would I pay 18.00 plus for a five year old story when I can pick up this book at any bookstore in town for next to nothing used? Get a grip Barnes and Nobles!!!

I love this book. I stayed up all night just to finish it. Alexa Chambers is defendly a strong female character and can hold her own. Trask is one of those silent and dangerous types, but ends up softening for Alexa in the end. Love this book and this will not be the last of Jayne Ann Krentz books that I read.

The whole murder/suspense thing was pretty well done and with lots of plot twists. The art world background was pretty interesting. The "hop into bed as quickly as possible" felt awfully contrived this time. Not a bad tale, and does hold interest through most of the book. See publisher's blurb for more clues. The narrator did good character differentiation, but the intonation of the MC sounded more like an irritating early teen.
