About the Author

USA Today Best Seller, Nana Malone's love of all things romance and adventure started with a tattered romantic suspense she "borrowed" from her cousin.

It was a sultry summer afternoon in Ghana, and Nana was a precocious thirteen. She's been in love with kick butt heroines ever since. With her overactive imagination, and channeling her inner Buffy, it was only a matter a time before she started creating her own characters.

While she waits for her chance at a job as a ninja assassin, in the meantime Nana works out her drama, passion and sass with fictional characters every bit as sassy and kick butt as she thinks she is.

A cute addition to the Donovan series. There are a lot of dramatic/soap-like plots going on to the point where they took a bit away from the main couple’s relationship (in that I don’t really know what attracts them to one another) but it’s heartwarming enough for a quick comfort read.

Absolutely love this author. Love the series and this book didn't disappoint. Family Drama, steamy scences, betrayal, love and romance. Logan and Jezzie bond is beautifully written. Can't wait to read the next book.

Talk about a whirlwind ... Find out your sister is dead, she has an orphaned daughter, go to Vegas for a photo shoot, run in to your brother's best friend, get drunk, get married and wake up in bed naked next to new husband. To top it all off, you have a best friend that's the devil in disguise and a brother-in-law who wants your husband dead. And let's not forget the "dead" sister who is really alive and scamming you. Talk about suspense and drama. I had to keep reading to see what else was going to happen. I have not read the rest of the series, but now I'm curious and will. Fabulous book.

A great Donovan story about two successful people that make some very bad decisions that turn their worlds & lives upside down, but that manage to make things work even though they can't stand to be near each other. Jezzie & Logan love story is full of twists and turns, unexpected surprises, family love, suspense & lots of passion. You will fall in love with these characters both good & bad and would not want to let them go. Can't wait to read about the Donovan's again.

ezzie and Logan were my favorites of the Donovan series yet! Jezebel is one of the adopted Donovan kids and finds out she has a niece from her long lost dead sister at an orphanage and wants to adopt her but needs a spouse to seal the deal. Logan needs a wife for an inheritance he wants to claim. Jezebel is the sister of Logan's best friend and she has had a crush on him that never was reciprocated but they both have a need for each other now. Read on to see if need turns to want in this sizzler. The plot was so good and I don't want to give away the twists ( there are so many and they are so good). Loved it!

I loved Jezzie and Logan's story! Jezzie is a plus sized super model that would rather stay out of the spotlight and curl up with a good book. Logan is a smoking hot rock star who loves being in the spot light and likes breaking the rules. These two have known each other for a while being that Logan is Jezzie's brother's best friend, but when she makes it known that she doesn't want him to think of her as a friend's little sister anymore and he turns her down, any good will between them turns into very strong dislike. Fast forward a few years, a lot of drinks, and a chance meeting in Sin City and you end up with these two having a forgettable wedding in Vegas (they literally don't remember what happens for some time). They both agree they shouldn't stay married but then opportunity knocks for both of them and suddenly a quickie divorce doesn't seem quite as likely. These two both use each other to get what they want but unexpected twists come into play while Jezzie is trying to adopt her niece and Logan is trying to get from underneath his father's clutches. And possibly most surprising of all is when these two actually fall for one another. This story captivated me from the beginning. I loved reading about this couple and the mysteries surrounding them. This was a great book in the Donovan's series and I'd highly recommend!

I declare these two got themselves in a pickle. I enjoyed reading about Logan & Jezebel. They really have lots of obstacles to overcome. Logan seems a bit more determined to work on their relationship. Jezebel seems a tad single-minded aka selfish. Both have their insecurities, trust issues though and the drama read like real life drama, lol. Pretty good, well rounded story.

Jezzie/Jezebel Donovan is proof that women with curves are sexy and beautiful. A plus-sized model, she has broken the so-called glass ceiling and been featured on the cover of the magazine coveted by all models. She has grown up and been adopted into a fabulous family, what more could she want? Maybe the guy she'd coveted since she'd followed him and her big brother around as kids. Logan Cross, rock star, sex in a Tshirt, and her big brother's BFF, forever until he drunk-married Jezzie. Waking up, they decided on a quickie divorce as soon as their busy schedules and their attorneys could manage. Surprise! Logan had not been raised in a loving family and his calculating father presented him with a stipulation to the Trust Fund he was supposed to get in a few weeks. He had to be married and stay that way for a time. Crap! How was he supposed to tell Jezzie? Surprise! Jezzie needed a husband, too. Yeah, long lost sister is found, but she had died, leaving a toddler daughter. If she is to adopt she has to be married. I loved watching these two successful but lonely people develop want into love. Ms. Malone has put a number of twists into this one and managed to surprise me more than once. So much for being able to figure out the mysteries. I didn't even know they were a mystery, she just sneaked them up on me. Please don't tell anyone, but this is my first Donovan book—it sure won't be my last. I fell hard for this family and want to meet them all again and again. They are the kind of family everyone wishes they had—not obscenely wealthy but rich with love. New to the series or not, this is a book to love, has plenty of steam, great characters, and an ending that makes you say, “Ahh.” Just my kind of romance. This is a two thumbs up, top ten, five-star read. Don't miss it.
