I haven't read a Physic Visions story that I didn't love. The setting and character development is always excellent. I am always sucked into the story and hate to put it down until I've finished it. The next story is always highly anticipated.

Eye of the Falcon by Dale Mayer Psychic Visions Series Book Twelve Issa McGuire's life has just been turned upside down. Again. Someone wants something from her and she has no idea what it is. Hasn't she lost enough in her life? And on top of everything else, her birds need her and she can't find them. Eagle Saunders, retired special ops, is happy on his hundred and twenty acres—taking care of the birds that need him. Somehow after helping one bird...he now cares for hundreds of them. And now, he has a woman to care for too. That's okay though, protecting is what he's good at. This story will take you to the past and present in Issa's life as she tries to figure out who wants her and why. And with her affinity with birds—the story brings in some characters from previous books as they are called upon to help reunite Issa with her birds. **Sexual content and language

I love the whole idea of a human and animals connecting on a deeper level beyond the understanding of what's considered normal, to be completely in tune and able to help understand and heal each other through the connection. This story takes that idea and runs, its fascinating, interesting and a "little out there". I would have liked another chapter at the end with everything being resolved and them finding their new normal but that's me, I hate my stories ending. This poor woman goes through hell, has her life completely turned upside down again but still finds strength deep inside herself. The help Eagle gives her without question, they share an affinity for birds both helping and healing in their own ways is awesome. I loved the connection with Stefan and some of the others in this journey into finding the answers and finding peace. Fantastic read that just blew my mind in reading it.

4.5 This is the very first book I have read in the Psychic Vision Series and I was not disappointed. The plot was excellent, there was intrigue, mystery fantastic alpha male :) and a totally cool female. Yes there is a steamy detailed sex for you all and the plot did not revolve around it! It was a natural progression. I volunteered to leave a review, it was not asked of me.#eyeoffalcon

I wait in anticipation for the release of a Dale Mayer book every month. Be it the Psychic Visions series or the Seals series. There is just something about the way she writes that captures the imagination and takes you away into a world that is bliss and sunshine. Eye of the Falcon - what can I say but she has done it again. The world of the psychics has always interested me and the Psychic Visions series was one I read again and again. I now have all 12 books in my library. Issa was an amazing character from start to finish. I suppose we all imagine the character differently in our minds, but she seemed to take everything that came at her with aplomb. She was strong and required a strong character alongside her, which came in the form of Eagle. I enjoyed the interaction between them, so real. Dale doesn't disappoint with the excitement and edge of your seat suspense and this one actually had me biting my nails at times. I love the feeling of your heart beating faster as the adrenalin rushes in and you just can't wait to find out what happens next and Dale does this so well in this book. I read page to page without a break, except to go to the loo, as I usually do with her books, but this one had a different feel to it in the incorporation of the characters from the previous books, popping in every now and again and so blase about their capabilities. I sometimes imagine what my life would be like if I was one of the psychics in this series, and it would certainly not be dull. Dale, thank you for another amazing novel. Another break from reality. For anyone reading this review - please please please pick up this book and I assure you that you will find it difficult to put it down. Absolutely Awesome!! And then go back and buy any of the Psychic Vision books you may have missed.

This is a great series. It is the 12th book, but it still feels fresh :) Issa and Eagle are both such strong, independent characters. I like how caring Eagle is and how he supports Issa. The relationship builds slowly, but you can feel the bond between them. While this can be read as a stand-alone, there are a couple characters who show up from previous books which adds to story. I can’t wait for the next story!

Two souls with avian connections… This is the twelfth book in the Psychic Visions series. Issa McGuire had a unique bond when she was young with a majestic falcon and was used by her family to protect their criminal activities. At the age of six everything fell apart, with her mother she migrated to America from their home in Ireland. Being different from other people, living in the concrete world of the city left Issa feeling bereft, needing nature and the energy of the outdoors to be whole. When older she bought a cabin outside of Denver, Colorado and tried to assimilate in the world in her own way with a degree in environmental sciences, she made some new avian friendships but not like the one she had lost which she still doesn’t quite fathom. Being alone in the wilderness has its manmade dangers, she’s abducted after her mother’s death and tortured for information she doesn’t believe she has but she manages to escape though severely injured. With the help of an eagle friend she collapses on the property of an avian sanctuary. Much decorated former navy pilot Eagle Saunders runs a raptor refuge center, those birds have always called to him and since returning from the military he tends to those in need. His newest eagle save has a badly broken wing yet the bird managed to fly off which in such condition he shouldn’t have been able to do. He returns later on to lead Eagle to a woman, an unconscious, naked woman who’s obviously hurt and there was something mystical about the finding which he keeps to himself. Her wounds are familiar to him from the things he’s seen in the service and so he seeks to assist her privately with only those he trusts. It’s no wonder that upon regaining consciousness memories elude the woman but she knows her name and of her birds. After what she’s been through can she trust this stranger who has a sympathetic calling to the animals she holds most dear? This was a unique story, anyone who has ever had a pet, who has ever bonded with an animal, knows there’s an intelligence and sentience to those species, this author brought such capabilities to the forefront in such a way that you are empathically drawn into the human and animal sufferings. The protagonists were great characters with much emotional depth. The hero, at times skeptical, keeps an open mind when faced with things he doesn’t understand surrounding the heroine for they are truly kindred spirits. The heroine exhibited much growth and has an indomitable inner strength that took her from tragic childhood to the present. While navigating the growing bond between them, together they seek to find out why Issa was abducted and tortured and the trail seems to lead to the past where it all began. But why would the past rear its head now? The intriguing suspenseful plot was intricately woven with numerous unexpected twists, the mystery to solve spanned decades. I have to say that I love this author’s paranormal imagination. Other characters from the series made appearances, Stefan and Tabitha connected to the birds that had been separated from their friend, you have to love the most adorable persistent owl who wouldn’t leave Stefan alone and who now appears in many of his paintings. An advanced reading copy was obtained from the author. 4.5 stars

EYE OF THE FALCON. by Dale Mayer. "Psychic. Visions # 12 Issa bonded with her pet raven, when young, birds were a part of her soul. Now after years of concrete living she had open spaces and sky. She now has a cabin, and could hear the birds calling to her. Her mother never understood, her life was all social media. Her dad was it a life of criminal activity. With her docrate degree, surely she can find work some where. Someone invade her space and unwillingly took her, being found by Eagle, close to his animal reserve. The falcon close by, she relates, he found her. Eagle wants to know what happened to his world, as the raptors screeched. A beautiful haunting story, of a past Issy now questions of her parents lives. New love for Eagle and her connection to falcons. Readers will love this intriguing plot.

This is a great book. It grabs you from the beginning and you will not want to put it down. The mystery keeps you guessing the twists just keep coming. It engages every emotion, you will laugh and you will want to cry. Issa and Eagle are both people who do not trust easy yet they have a connection from the beginning. The secondary character are great, some are old friend from previous books some are new, however one you just have to cheer for is one little owl with a big heart named Humbug!!! I volunteered to review this story for my honest opinion.

I am laughing I am crying, my heart broke and was mended. That is the best book I have ever read. That you have ever written. Dear Lord, I am an emotional mess, reading Eye of the Falcon. Wow, Issa, that little girl and Hadrid, a match made in heaven on earth. Hadrid saved her life, gave her a life by being her best friend. Issa, didn't know that she was doing anything special. She thought it was all Hadrid. Then things changed and she is now in America and her mother has died. Her life takes another turn. I will not be a spoiler, so will not go into a lot of detail. Just know that Issa is a very special lady. Dale Mayer please do not ever stop writing. The world would be a lessor place without your words and books in it. I if you have not guessed yet. Loved it. Loved it. Oh mercy! I do not think you can top that book.
